I say, maybe instead of getting a power up, like the boys, Sakura will finally get an axe. She's been drawn with it plenty, plus axes are used to cut trees. So, she could possibly be trying to free people from the genjutsu, while N/S are fighting Kaguya.

 

That's a good idea, actually. I don't know about getting the axe -- though it would be pretty cool -- but possibly Sakura could find a way to break the Tsukuyomi and save everyone while Naruto and Sasuke duke it out with Kaguya. Don't know if it will happen, but it's a nice thought and at least it would be something.

What is absolute truth is what is said and stated  by the characters themselves and their actions in this manga black and white trying to twist that is a no .

 

Then what were you trying to prove by saying he "checked them first" ? I take it as you were trying to use that moment as to prove that he cares about them  but you see i can do the same by saying he checked only because Naruto said him to go there to save them and even after that he left them to die as in "his body moved away from them"  this is why from your whole original post this is the only part i disagreed

 

And you also said he was forcing himself not to care for them but he's willing to let them die  to me that implied it is what you meant so excuse me if that wasn't your intention but this also makes Sasuke a Tsunder which is funny and OOC .

You know he likes to make characters LIE. What is said in the manga in black and white is not always the truth. Kishimoto likes to make things subtle. Remember : "see underneath the underneath". Many characters lied in Naruto, many characters hid something. Sakura made fake smiles, Itachi lied and forced his brother to hate him, Obito lied to himself and to Naruto and Naruto saw through it, and so on. The list continues.

 

I did not twist anything. Again, you can say "no" as much as you want. I just shared my point of view on a forum where everyone do the same. I said "I think". I said "IMO". But you just said "NO". You're placing yourself like the provider of ultimate truth.

 

When I said that "he checked first" I wasn't trying to prove anything. I was just deducting it from the manga. You are free to interpret it as you like. I don't care. But just don't say to me that I'm trying to prove something about Sasuke and don't say to me "NO NO you can't say that". This is a forum, I can say what I want. And IMO Sasuke checked. See ? I know, and you know too, that Sasuke (the old Sasuke) will be brought back by Naruto. This is implied since Sasuke left by Kishimoto.

 

And from this chapter, I think it will be something similar to what Kishi did with Obito, when Naruto dig deep down into him to find him and his hidden memories and hopes.

IMO, Sasuke is the same as Obito. And Obito was lying to himself. And Naruto saw through it. Sasuke is lying to himself too. To me, it's heavily implied by Kishimoto.

 

What would be so bad about Sasuke checking in Kakashi and Sakura's direction ?  It's like you're afraid of it to be true really. I said nothing, I just shared my opinion and you cast so much energy to counter it...

 Yes Kishi likes to be subtle also that doesn't mean he  always is , in here he couldn't have been more obvious and straight forward  with Sasuke but this is just me .

 

LOL I'm not even gonna bother explaining this half if what you trying to say is that Sasuke is lying to himself about his feelings that he may or may not have for Kakashi and Sakura in here . But i will say only this Naruto in here isn't hinting/pointing out that Sasuke has some hidden T7 feels , Naruto's words only meant to justify his actions and that once upon a time he was the same with him mind you this does not mean T7 also  . If anything its a hint that Naruto is the only one who will change Sasuke's views.

First of all i don't agree that Sasuke will be back to his "old self" again and the reason is simple people change every character in the manga changed since that time  if you meant to say that he will "Learn to care again" then i agree because what you are implying is that Sasuke as a character in fact never did change during the course of this manga and that is not true .

 

And for this chapter i  get it that Naruto is the only one why can reach him and will redeem Sasuke  no matter how stupid i think this is .

 

I said that it was implying not that you meant/said it that he was a Tsunder and i said "excuse me" if that is not what you meant but it was funny to me and OOC Sasuke that's all .

It seems to me you just don't know what it means to lie to yourself.

IMO, we just felt what Kishimoto wanted to do at the end, that's all. I think people want Naruto to put some brain into Sasuke.

Kishimoto never initiated a feeling of hate for Sasuke from his friends.

They are not meant to hate him.

 

IMO, Naruto himself doesn't believe that Sasuke doesn't care. So why would I believe it ? Naruto knows Sasuke cares, deep down. I believe he has already start to dig inside Sasuke. That's why he is teasing him with a memory Sasuke himself gave him. He's teasing him, using present tense "I'm sure you know what I'm saying".  But right now he is corrupted to a point that he would have let them die.

They're more then welcome to not hate him but as READERS we shouldn't be looking at Sasuke and thinking "oh, secretly he cares!" because you can tell from his actions He doesn't.

Naruto can believe whatever he likes- he can be wrong. his belief  doesn't change what Sasuke's done. It doesn't change his attitude, it doesn't change the fact that Sakura and Kakashi could have died and he wouldn't care. 

If he cared he would have done something to save them like Kakashi did with Sakura and Obito; because Kakashi actually cares about them living or dying. 

Sasuke doesn't but because nobody dies or gets hurt readers are supposed to just give Sasuke a pass?

No thanks. Sasuke's still a bad friend and as long as he pulls the BS he's been pulling, redemption is going to be as cheap as death in this story.

You know the way I see it is Kaguya=Hagoromo+Hamura, I'm talking in terms of power. Hagoromo=Naruto+Sasuke.
So if Hamura shows up and if only Sakura receives a power-up. It would mean that Sakura=Naruto+Sasuke.
And I would absolutely love that. To see Sakura being more powerful than Naruto and Sasuke.
I know it sounds ridiculous and it doesn't really make any sense, but let's be honest logic left this story along time ago.
Like I said I understand that this story is a male orientated story and Naruto is the main character and he'll get most of the action along with Sasuke. But it's time for Sakura to get a piece of that action. It's time for Sakura to show the boys how it's done. It's time for her to rise above the rest.

She doesn't even have to do anything in that same chapter, but if Kishi had Sakura think this, I would actually believe he might know what he's doing with her character. It would not erase everything he's done to her, but it would be an amazing start for this heroine Sakura to step in for the rest of the manga.

LOL. Actually deep inside, I DO want Kaguya to think of her like that. Means that she is acknowledging Sakura (in a bad way) for something that she needs to destroy along with the two big bugs (Naruto & Sasuke).

 

And that self-monologue, is something that I too craving for. If Kishimoto did do something like that, we can expect the next chapter will be something like, 'My Resolve'. Well, it won't be hurt to dream, since so far, the probability for something like this to happen is really high, given the kind of treatment and review she'd been receiving so far.

And if I'm proven wrong then, that just prove's bad writing on Sensei's part, although I remember a similar thing happening in the last fight in DBZ.

You know what's funny. I never realized how much punch harder is the solution in DBZ. Even going against Obito, they have to extract him to win, rather than John Cena the hell out of him. That said it wasn't that far back, so I expect while very powerful yet still keep "planning" that series usually do.

Yet it's your personal opinion.
Otaru talked that it's the way the story goes, no matter what Sasuke thinks and do, he will be redeemed and will be back.
He will be a good person from Kishimoto's and the story perspective even if the audience thinks he's not.
Obito is an example of this, he killed a lot of people, was responsabe for Naruto being an orphan and his suffering and yet he become "good" despite being pretty cheap.

Sasuke is the same, we got countless of flashbacks with him thinking of the team 7, when Karin was going to die, when Kakashi asked him to look on his heart during the summit, and when Sasuke returned to the village and Orochimaru said that he was coming with terms about his feelings.
And it's pretty much stated that his goals are more important.
For him, he doesnt care about Kakashi, Sakura and Naruto or his friends because he cares about his goal.
But it's shown that deep inside he has "feelings" for them on which he rejects.
That's the hint that allows me to say he will be redeemed.
