Agreed, especially with the Juubi bearing down on them.

I just really don't want the dust to settle on this battle and then have Sakura pull a Karin and be like "Oh it's all better" because it's REALLY freaking not. You don't just do something like that then sweep it under the rug. It cheapens Sakura to have her just forgive Sasuke without even the slightest effort on his part. If he never wants to apologize then she should always never be 100% with him. That makes sense to me.

Pretty sure if Sakura was gonna pull a Karin, it would have happened on the spot

Funny, didn't Minato ask Sakura if she's his girlfriend, not Naruto? Hilarious that Naruto answered it for her. What's more funny is that because of her care factor, Minato already think she's his girlfriend. That's just awesome. I guess he knows that feeling from Kushina. Oh man, so much win!

Not much I can do for the delusional... but I'm surprised how much of a non-factor this is to neutral fans, their talking more about the chapter itself, which is quiet pleasant you know? I'd rather this not come down to which pairing is gonna happen, but instead of how this will all play out

Yes, it's the author who has the final say, so we have no idea how it ends until the author actually shows the end. Even with all these 'parallels,' it doesn't mean that the same conclusion you arrived in is necessarily the same as the author's. It could be, because of the tragic end of these 'parallels,' he may have been showing that Naruto and Sakura WILL get together, but ALSO die in a battle together.

Or, using the ObiRin 'parallel,' he may show how the loss of someone you love may trigger anger and hatred, and it may show that maybe, Naruto and Sakura are better off as friends.


Not saying Kishi will 100% do that, of course, but there's always a chance, however slim, that the author may be going a different direction than what the fans thought.

1: Even if they die together, NS was still canon.
2. If they are better of as friends, why do i keep developing them, make them more obvious then anything else., that doesnt make sense. The story didnt go they way for them to be friends in the end.
He just cant make an other pairing canon after somehting like this without looking like a clown, so i see it as canon. If they die or something like that no pairing is canon, but im 100% sure that hes not going to kill his main characters

This makes no sence since minato and kushina could also be together without breakin out into hatred. It like no we better dont get together because we could start to hate the world. No sense

Read it now.
I admit it did provide a lot clear confirmation in the manga that has been present in the other outside media, like Naruto apparently still has a crush on Sakura. But it also clearly revealed that Sakura and Kushina are a like, which is a parallel we have been pushing since Kushina said the line "Find a girl just like you mom" (paraphrasing, but that was the jist of it). However, while this chapter does seem to reconfirm Naruto's feelings for Sakura, nothing is for sure a this point. Naruhina isn't dead because of this chapter, and Narusaku isn't confirmed at this point. It is still good moment, and I will definitely consider it a win for us, yet I think we are taking this a little bit to far.......

On a side note, throughout that opening scene I couldn't help think how openly okay Naruto was at seeing his father alive......again, if Road to Ninja is somehow canon (probably not). Also, one of the first things that Minato says is asking Naruto if Sakura is his girlfriend, rather than telling him, you know, why he is alive again. And instead of Naruto instantly asking him why the hell he is alive again, he instead answers his question by replying that she is "something like that" (though that depends on what translation you are reading). Sakura then, rightfully, punches him on the head, while talking about their current relationship status while in a War (that is what Facebook is for, under Naruto's relationship status is will read out Sort of, kind of in a relationship).

Though to be fair to Naruto, he and Sakura do spend a lot of time together, and she did freaking confessed her love for him (even if she was lying, you just don't say that to normal friends). I think Naruto has the right to call her his "something like that" girlfriend at this point.

Maybe to finalize unrequited love. Naruto might love Sakura, but showing her interactions with Sasuke might show that door being shut and allow him to move on. Maybe that's it. Just throwing it out there as an option, nothing concrete.

first, Sasuke should show he has some romantic feelings for Sakura, dont you think?
lets not keep forgeting Sasuke's feelings,. i see SasuSaku's interaction as mainly a closure on Sakura's part since Sasuke never showed that he has feelings for her,.. well, if we talk about Sasuke trying to kill her, i think there's more than enough of that, lol and again, Naruto giving up is out of the question, once again, Kishi pointed out that his main character has a one track mind, be it about his dreams or the girl he likes

Well the chapter itself is damn good but right now, it's my NS fandom talking. I won't bash others, but I would mention that there's no excuse to downplay by haters. I won't point finger on somebody.

I think so too. Kishi did a good job of setting the stage for Sakura and she's going to have to make a choice. I, personally, identify as a Sakura fan first so if she wants to be with Sasuke I'm ok with it but I'd sure as hell like to know why. As it stands, there is really...no reason for her to be with him in the realm of logical thinking. Hence why Sasuke would have to try his butt off to even get into good graces, let alone the love department.

Granted, Kishi could just have her be like "I love you Sasuke-kun" but that would be taking a thunder-god dump (lol) on her character. That's why I can't really see SasuSaku happening. Sasuke won't go to the effort to right his wrongs with Sakura in a meaningful manner and even if he did she may not love him like that anymore because of what he's done and what he originally planned to do.

BEST CHAPTER EVER IN THE MANGA YET XDDDDDD

Great chapter. I really was surprised that Kishi did all Minato's positive options with Sakura. Asking if she was his girlfriend, Kushina = Sakura, talking to her... This is fantastic. Naruto once again confirmed his love for her. Guys, NS is two steps away from being drawn as a couple decided by each of the two characters XD. The step is to have Sakura resolves her feelings for Sasuke completely.

Sakura joined the combat. Plus, she has a new power that she wants to show us... The three students of the Sannin will fight together... Strider C, our luck and hope for this one is done XD.

The Kages are together and we'll have some great show them battling along Team 7.

Great chapter, great development in one chapter, nice story line for the plot... Awesome

I would say he was more aloof and uncaring about other people's opinion as always. It's heightened in this chapter because Team Hawk doesn't question Sasuke as much as The 9 are doing right now.

The problem of Naruto not questioning anything still stands, especially when Orochimaru is now said to be an ally. Sasuke's mistakes being completely dropped by Naruto and Sakura, especially Sakura, is also a problem. And Madara is still being given an OOC rape face.

Good things about this chapter? The third getting a line of dialogue. Minato kicking ass. The NaruSaku reference was fun too, but honestly, it should be expected of Kishimoto. Just like Sakura's speech last week. It's good that he put it in, but after all of the past buildup, it should be downright expected of him. The only reason it wasn't is because he's proven to be iffy in his writing lately.

My fear of Sasuke's buildup as a villain being being wasted has been completely realized now, meaning no last Naruto vs. Sasuke climax, which was also wasted buildup now.

This was actually kind of a downgrade from last week's chapter, where its only shortage of being great was the last panel.

That is what you're seeing here. Everyone is having to put their personal qualms aside for the time being and deal with Madara and the Juubi or they are toast.

Once this is done I see the personal matters getting addressed so for the moment, yeah, it's going to be "weird". Hell, I bet it feels weird to them. I wouldn't be surprised if next chapter we get some internal dialogue from some of the characters regarding the new arrivals but they will sit it aside and fight.
