Yep I've been there before I know how you feel.
ciardha@ I just read the narutopedia article of Naruto's relationship knowing I was going to regret it. It says that Naruto's feelings for Sakura are ONE SIDED because she doesn't return them. This is exactly why so many western fans believe Sakura doesn't love Naruto along with Pierot.

EDIT: @ciardia: I guss that makes since but I still don't know why Asuma wouldn't let Shikamaru, Choji and Ino know it's not like they would blab it all over the ninja world that Asuma and Kurenai were married.
I think Shikamaru might have known Asuma and Kurenai were secretly married, and certainly Ino knew Asuma and Kurenai were very much a couple. And in retrospect, Asuma looked like he might have been ready to confide to Kakashi about the depth of his relationship to Kurenai and that they were going to have a baby (the scene where Asuma and Kakashi are talking while Kakashi is in the hospital), but then Kurenai walks in, and then Asuma leaves with Kurenai without telling Kakashi what he was going to say.

Not quite, in my point of view.
The western fandom doesn't think that Sakura could love Naruto because they don't understand that sometimes in japanese romance plots a girls gets temperamental with a guy because of her subconscious affection for him. But they always interpret it as a sign of dislike from Sakura.
When it comes to Pierrot, I'm convinced that they are just huge fans of Hinata so they want to show her off any time they can but not really fans of NaruHina. There is absolutely no moments in the anime where Naruto has shown any interest in Hinata, so if Pierrot really supported that pairing they would at least show a subtle hint of it. But remember that what we always get from Naruto is how he is always in love with Sakura, Pierrot even went out of their way to create the filler episode 235 to reaffirm how Naruto remains deeply in love with Sakura despite all that had happened before.
I can say that because in all honesty I'm of the same mind. As a character, I like Hinata as much as I like Sakura, I really don't get why some people dislike her. But when I read the story I can obviously tell that NaruSaku has the preference of all possible pairing. The reason I chose NaruSaku is not because I think Sakura is better than Hinata as Naruto's girlfriend, I think both of them would be great in their own way. The reason I go for NaruSaku is because of how their development has unfolded throughout the story. From my perspective the plot makes you hope that Naruto can someday be able to win Sakura's heart.
I think Studio Pierrot understands this as well, but it doesn't mean they don't want to show off their favorite girl whenever they can.

1. First she says to sasuke where are going, and sasuke says mine your business, than she gets up set and tells him why he never tells her anything or talks to her (like its her right to make sasuke give his attention to her).
2. She than acknowledge that sasuke always hated her (that's the reason why he does not talk to you).
3. She than tried to convince him that getting his revenge will not make anyone happy, not him or herself(like sasuke care for her happiness or her opinion).
4. She than explains that she has family and friends, but if he leaves, she will be just as alone as him (that does not make any sense).
5. When that did not work, she than confess her love to him (give no reason why she loved him).
6. She says if she stays with him everyday will be joy and fun (highly unlikely, since she said he does not like her.)
7. Than she says she'll help him with his revenge (she already said getting his revenge will not bring anyone happiness).
8. When all that did not work, she says take her with him (already saying she has family and friends and said sasuke hates her, WTF).
So I'm just asking did kishi said in any interview that her confession to sasuke was bad and shallow. Because he sure convince me it was shallow and a bad moment for her.

i think her love for sasuke would be to make rivalry between naruto and sasuke ;p
since naruto wanted to be strong to impress sakura

Her confession was out of desperation because she didn't wanted him to leave the village. Also Kishi cleared out in the first volumes and in old interviews that Sakura has a SELFISH crush on Sasuke meaning it's not pure or represents that of true love.

When you put it that way some parts of her confession where pretty horrible thing for her to say.
#4 When she said that she'd be lonely without him it showed her as incredibly selfish (as if her family and friends didn't matter to her at all).
#8 She's willing to abandon the friends who cared about her to go on a path of evil she had no reason to go to. That really gave the impression she didn't care how saddened her friends would be if she left as well. As if the feelings of the people who cared for her didn't matter at all.
I'm glad her attitude changed as she grew up and she began to realize how her decisions affected the people around her.
This only reaffirms how desperate she was when she talked to Sasuke back then. I'm pretty sure she would've said about anything, whether she had intent to go trough with it or not, to convince him to stay.

Also do you seriously believe Sakura would really go with Sasuke even if he didn't wanted her to go? She wouldn't go through with it, showing that her confession was selfish and out of desperation. It's a bit similar to when she pretended she was going to leave Konoha to get a chance to try and and kill Sasuke.

@reddragon88: I'm the same way, infact I there isn't anyone in the entire manga that I can say that I hate although when Kabuto's flashback started he started trying my patients, but I just like my villans to be b*stard coated b*stards with a b*stard filling.

LOL. Read the Hinata article. The syntax on the article reminds me of a cheesy mexican soap opera. Serious kitten. They try too hard. The damn thing is even bigger than the Sasuke article, so one can imagine.

You mean what they lifted wholesale from the databooks? Even on that, only kind of. I have all the databooks, including the short updated one that includes the 5 Kages. To show how even on non shipping entries it is riddled with things that totally contradicts what is in the manga, I remind you of the infamously grossly inaccurate statement in Shikaku Nara's entry: "Just like his son, Shikamaru, Shikaku dislikes strong willed women" And this was on his entry as a supposed valid statement for years... and I checked and still tonight has a variant that is just as grossly inaccurate "Like his son, he thinks that women should be tender and sweet" Uh no, read the manga- Shikaku praises strong willed women specifically (after Shikamaru complains about "bossy" girls like Ino and Sakura to his father) and says men need women like that to make them better people. The only mention of of tenderness is what he says next- even the strongest woman will be tender to the man she loves. Total opposite of what that entry still says. Narutopedia is not to be trusted on anything.

I can't say I'd know. I don't understand Spanish. Three semesters of high school foreign language down the potty!
Sure, it can. From what you say (I've never visited the site), I can always trust it to be wrong, especially anything related to shipping wars.

Yeah, it is right here. Naruto Manga 172 Page 8. It is pretty clear he is praising that type of women. And Kishi could be speaking through him.
While this directly applies to Shikamaru(with Temari or Ino - but likely Temari), I always took it as maybe how Kishi sees Naruto x Sakura. Sakura is the strong willed woman that Naruto needs. Could that be why some fans mess up Shikaku's words?

I wouldn't know how much is form the databooks I've only been able to find the thrid one in english and I haven't had the patients to sit down and read it yet.
Also about the Shikaku thing, wasn't that in the trivia section? Because I didn't say that the tivia section was reliable, if it sounded like I was then I probably should've worded my post a little better, also I did say that as long as it isn't anything about shipping it was pretty reliable, and I see that as shipping related.

I'm torn between amusement at the NaruHina desperation. Not even that long ago(a week or two maybe), I edited both the Sakura relationship and Hinata relationship. On Hinata, I put "It was one-sided throughout the story, in Part 1 put that he felt the need to prove Neji wrong about failures, not just Hinata", and that the "I like people like you line" meant he was glad she was being so nice. Guess what? All that got erased
On Sakura's, I put "Sakura and Naruto grow closer in Part 2, Sakura developing feelings of empathy towards his life as a Jinchuriki, protective of Naruto, seeing him as "a fond friend". I also put Naruto desire to always protect was seen during his fight with Gaara in Part 1 and Yamato picked up on it." Sai NEVER assumed anything, I put "indicate". And since the NaruHina paragragh has filler, I added episode 235 in Sakura's paragraph just to make it fair. You're never gonna believe it: All that got erased too
I was trying very hard not to be biased. Hell, I even kept the" Sakura doesn't reciprocate his feelings" for the NaruHina fan's pride. I was being generous. Why can't they do the same?
How does anything in what I put hold bias?
They are trying too hard if it's longer than Sasuke's, Naruto's most important bond. Really, NaruHina fans/SasuSaku
