Just finished watching the block.

Now my views:

- Same thing with editing details: toning down blood and death scenes, except on some issues, like the Sasuke genjutsu, (kunai was still in attach).

- Shorten pace with those damn commercials...

- Where's the font from the original when they show the title of the episodes? Bold white fonts doesn't fit well in the series.

- C'mon now, Viz... Cutie Jutsu? Hottie Jutsu?! WTF?!

- The ending credits... too American style, doesn't fit... I missed how Viz did the credits with the pictures on left and the credits scroll which ever way on a black screen.

- although, they did used the final updated version of the Hero's Come Back opening... which back in the original, they used the first versions of the openings.

Now, does it say the series comes on every Wednesday at 8:30 as in 4 episodes per Wednesday or just 1?

I'm not going to lie, when I first heard Naruto Shippuden was going to be on DisneyXD I wanted to cry. XD I was excited that it was back on tv, but on Disney? Really?! I mean, when I think of Disney, I think of young kid shows that are age appropriate with no blood of nudity. And I thought that Disney was just going to butcher it.

But luckily I was proved wrong and everything went okay. The voices sound okay (thank God they kept the same voice actors, since I've grown used to the voices)

And I agree, it needs a Saturday time slot. Wednesday night slot is just...weird to me.

I tried watching it on Disney XD....and I got horrible 4Kids One Piece flashbacks so I changed the channel.

I got my HSI by Satellite the other day since I live in the country without DSL or Cable and man I just got through finishing watching all the dubs available 1-17 it was badass. I tried watching the subs with Jiraiya taking on Pain and I just couldn't get into it with the awkward Japanese voices and constantly reading the subtitles prompt at the bottom, so for now on I'll be checking animefreak.tv or naruto-tv for some more epic dubisodes.

The voice cast and the "Hero's Come Back" theme sound I liked too.

Does anyone know when they'll come out with episode 18 and above dubbed?

It comes out about next year since the DVDs for episode 18+ are coming out at the same time.
