People let's just drop the "Copy/Paste" post, and get back into topic.

Anyways, my thoughts:

Nice chapter and all but I hope Nagato doesn't pull a 180 and start BS again or gives Naruto the Rinnegan because I feel that will be a waste of writing.

Yeah I know what you mean I have seen that in a lot of Fanfic. They give him the Sharingan instead of the Rinnegan. I just hope Kisimoto doesn't do that it will make me question his writing ability.

Um... where did the speculation of the Rinnegan being a present come from?

That was me, but I've since changed my mind. Too unlikely.

Me, I just want Naruto to get a fight where he doesn't have to get bailed out by someone. Stupid fox, I hate you. dry.gif

I know right? I thought for sure it would be this fight, but then Hinata had to jump in and be all sacrificial. >_< Ah well, I think that after the talk between Naruto and Minato that Naruto is going to learn how to control Kyuubi, at least to the extent that he can effectively use it in battle. That was one of the reasons Minato gave for putting it into Naruto after all.

As for this "gift" from Nagato, I found something interesting about the seal Nagato is performing but no one replied when I posted it in the spoiler section, so I'll ask again here. Kishi has shown us that hand seal before, at least twice:

The hand seal for bunshin as seen in chapter one

The hand seal for henge as seen in chapter one

So my question is, is this hand seal just a generic hand seal? Or did we only see the last hand seal in a series of them?

Hmm, it looks similiar to the Ram seal, but one hand is lower than the other. Maybe it's a basic concentration seal?

Hitsuji is the Eigth sign of the Chinese zodiac, the Sheep. It is associated with South-Southwest and the month of June.

Note: Ram has been officially depicted in the manga as having either the right thumb or index finger extended upwards.

Now, it's been known that the ram seal is just the general chakra gathering seal. I believe if you check when they first learn to climb trees, thats the sign they used to gather chakra to their feet.

I do have another idea about the jutsu Nagato is about to use: He will release all the biju Akatsuki has captured thus far, and test Naruto fighting them. Just a thought.

That's not a test, that's a one sided slaughter! sweatdrop.gif

Those demons took pairs of S-Rank shinobi just to capture! Naruto is stronger now for sure, but not THAT strong!

No one is taking my "get the eff out of this painful chair now that there's no reason to fight cuz there are sticks poking the most uncomfortable places on my body no jutsu!!" idea seriously! shamefulcry0js.gif It's a valid guesstebayou.

I don't think he could get out, from the looks of it, it would seem as if it's already a part of his body. Removing it would probably result in death. I don't know how he got from Amegakure to Konohagakure with that thing though... but neither do I know the reasoning behind the astroid field on the outer reaches of our solar system. I just accept what goes down.
The Righteous are humiliated and perish, the strong are weakened and beaten, lovers become wretches to all and the other, the innocent are forsaken and dismissed, and the shattered are left broken... such is the cause of evil and contempt... contempt for what others are not, contempt for their own weaknesses, contempt because they are no longer in the realm of the light. But instead have fallen to hatred, anxiety, and greed.

From the way the chapter went, I had the feeling that the ending alluded to a test of sorts against Naruto, maybe a fight? The "I will believe in you...." line may possibly be reiterated as an "Make me believe...." line.

I hope to heck not. Another fight would be beyond stupid and pointless at this part of the story arc. But nor do I think Nagato will give Naruto the Rinnegan. He might call the bijuu containing statue and give it to Naruto. We might then see in the manga the dimensional sealing ceremony that has been shown in the anime, as Tsunade, Sakura, Neiji (much stronger than Hinata, and also most likely his team's medic-nin as well) send each bijuu into another dimension, leaving the Kyuubi sealed inside Naruto, and the 8 tails sealed inside Kirabe as the only ones left in Naruto's world.
