Diplomatic Relations
This is the fic that made Lee x Gaara one of my favorite parings. It just works. Also it's one of the few fics that have actually explored the fact that Lee was in love with Sakura at first, and you get to read the process to his discovery that he's gay. It's really good stuff. NC-17 though.

It's Tradition
This is a SasuNaru about Naruto seeing himself as suffering from a "curse" that makes him and Sasuke kiss accidentally every year. The time comes again and Naruto is hellbent on making sure it doesn't happen. Wilson, this is one of those stories where Naruto realizes that he's attracted to Sasuke.

Of That Most Beautiful Disorder
This is Neji x Kankuro. It's totally crack, but the author makes it work. Neji is in Suna to finalize an arranged marriage with a girl from a Suna family.

Ice Picks and Hand Grenades Shikamaru x Kiba. Another slightly crack one. But even though I normally feel Shikamaru is one of the straightest characters in the series, this author was able to make it work. Also Kiba goes through a "well, kitten...I like guys?" period as well. This also has Yuri (TenTen x Temari) and Het (Sakura x Lee) and some other Yaoi parings (Naruto x Sasuke, Shino x Kiba). NC-17!

Give You Back SasuNaru, and yes it's uke!Naruto but it's not the type that I hate. Sasuke comes back to find Naruto married to Hinata with a kid. It's really good and while I don't think Naruto and Sasuke have a chance in this fic, it's definitely Yaoi.

Public Bathing
By the same author as Give You Back, this one is hilarious and it will completely blindside you. SasuNaru.

The Ultimate Uke Syndrome- AU set in a basketball training camp. Naruto has some strange disease that release pheromones that make guys attracted to him. There are three pairings duking it out, NejiNaru, SasuNaru, GaaNaru. It's a bit funny at first but things get deep and emotional as things go one. Obviously this is Uke!Naruto, and this is pushing my girly!naruto pet peeve a bit but it's not too bad.

Something like Yaoi is a good example...and also couples that I despise, but that's a lot easier to continue reading. I'll die from cringing too much if a read a Yaoi fic to completion...

Though I am straight I don't have any problem with gay stuff and no problem with yaoi (though you won't catch me dead reading it). NaruSasu is pretty much 'canon' and if it wasn't for the fact that this is a shonen it would most likely happen.

I always say OROSASU FTW!!!! If you think about it, OroSasu is more 'canon' than NaruSasu (plus it's two sided!). All you have to do is look realllly closely.

I don't read Yaoi either but you are so right OroSasu is much more cannon. Yes, Naruto's safe and Naruto himself said Sai doesn't look like Sasuke in part so I think we are safe :thumbs:

OroSasu...you know up until the other post you made, this is the first time that I've thought about it ACTUALLY being a couple. When I think about it, it was usually, oh Orochimaru is a pedophile...but now...a whole different outlook.

The reason I think that SakuIno is not canon is because it happened all the way back during the Chunin exams and they have no contact whatsoever since then. Sakura and Ino haven't even talked to each other in the part 2( to the best of my knowledge) and they haven't had any conflict. NaruSasu on the other hand, has canon basis because Naruto is still whining about bringing Sasuke back "Sasuke I want to make love to you!!!!"

But you all know my OTP for Yaoi.
