I would just like to say that I think this is a very noble cause, and I hope you find some answers. Be proud that we stay true to the characters, before they got assassinated.

It would be tantamount to trolling if he shifted the canon pairings from NH/SS to NS and Sasuke/Whoever-it-might-be in this hypothetical 'shockingly fashionable' ending.

 

IF our hunches are true, I can explain the root reason why I thought it was so.
