I like both songs, though the opening did have some pretty silly and strange parts to it. It has spoilers for the Ninja War, but it seems so happy and goofy when it really shouldn't be. But with all this canon material in the OP and ED, it seems that the filler will be ending pretty soon.

Not quite the fans who read the manga will only say that its filler so it doesn't count.

Okay so if there are NS moments in fillers they don't count as canon evidence.

But if there are NH and SS fillers they count as canon evidence.....

Well, I really liked the new OP. It was fun and upbeat and it also managed to capture some of the magic of the very first episodes in both the original anime and Shippuden. Like others, I especially liked the "attempted hug", but also the parts with Naruto, Sakura and Sai together. I will agree though that if this is supposed to also be used when the anime gets back to canon, then it might be a bit too silly.

I also really liked the new ED. It definetly had a more serious tone as opposed to the OP, but it was still very optimistic, especially with Naruto being surrounded by all his friends (Sakura in particular ). The apperance of Kushina and Minato as well as Kyuubi mode was also pretty neat, despite being a bit of a spoiler.

As for the episode itself. Not bad, not bad at all. Shikamaru is always an interesting character to watch, especially with how he almost always manages to find a way out of seemingly impossible situations. TenTen is just a fun character all around. Especially with how she seems to combine a "Boys are so silly" attitude with a very tomboyish personality.

All in all, things are looking up. I don't think it will be all that long before we are back to the canon storyline.

I want to ask another question just to make sure of something.

When Naruto is about to hug Sakura in the opening, what face does Sakura make? It either is a face starting to turn into a *blush face* or a face starting to turn into a O_o face. Which one is it? Its probably the blush face but I don't want to be wrong.

You cant really tell, but dont worry about the minor details Naruto being all serious when He looks her in the face and going for a hug is all there is to know.

1. yell loud enough to get the police called on me

2. have a narugasm (whatever that is)

3. try to throw a party in here

4. give Kishi a christmas present....

5. wonder if I did enough!

Just remember thats was just hugging... kissing, etc is a whole different story!
