LOL, I'm the same way. I'm such a slow gamer. It took me two months to beat Twilight Princess. And that was before I had a full-time job.
I'm getting this game for X-mas, and right now my goal is to beat it by the end of February, since I'm planning on getting the Tales of the Abyss 3DS port, which has been delayed till mid-February in the U.S. for some reason.

And with that being said... Hero Mode, here I come!

Congratulations!

Also, replay value!?? Heck yes!

Thanks!

Yes, it was definitely longer than TP, and a lot harder too in my opinion. Let's see, TP took me about 25 hours to beat, 21 excluding random side quests. SS took me 47! Then again TP was too easy for my liking. I usually don't take long beating Zelda games depending on the difficulty, but I would have completed SS 7 hours quicker if I figured out sooner that I had to roll a bomb over a freaking bridge. But it's harder than TP in general, and more stuff to do in the main quest.
Yup! After beating the game, Hero Mode comes in, making things a lot harder than before [which I won't tell you what makes it harder, it's a surprise. But when you get to that stage, good luck

Good thing my strategy guide doesn't go through that particular order.

I've got one more Gratitude quest to go, and still need to try and get the strongest shield in the game. I finally got through that damned harp mini-game.

Haha, that reminds me of the Early Master Sword glitch on Twilight Princess, except you can still complete the game. Getting the Master Sword earlier in the game just makes it harder to complete since the game assumes that you've gotten through the temples prior to obtaining the Master Sword.

You know, getting the Hylian Shield was actually easier than I thought. I didn't even use the Sacred Shield for it since mine broke while I was in the final dungeon. Hence I decided to complete the Thunder Dragon's Lightning Round so I don't have to buy another shield ever again!

Anyways, good luck in finishing the game

OMG YOU'RE BACK!

Well I told my sister that I'll start after school finishes, but instead I started playing straight after exams were finished. I played everyday after that. Aaaand let's see... I have no damn idea how many hours I played everyday, but all I know is that it took me about 47 hours to beat. Yeah, it's that hard. But I still would have completed it faster if I didn't spent so long figuring out that I had to blow up a freaking rock that leaks out lava to get past the second region
