Not me, it's Kishimoto showing how far Gaara has come from the crazed cold hearted killer he was before Naruto got through to him. He can cry not just for his own pain but for that of others. Sasuke has gone so far into his crazed hatred that he can barely even acknowledge others have experienced anything like his feelings that drove him to where he's chosen to put himself. Not that the Raikage is much better, he's also driven by rage and doesn't listen to others.

Unless they are talking about Susano'o specifically, don't you believe it.

I think Sasuke is a little different from what Gaara used to be. Sasuke is showing signs in this chapter of actually enjoying the darkness and the power upgrades it has given him while Gaara never really liked the darkness but thought that was the only way he could live during part 1. which means now that there's a slim chance Naruto will be able to actually convince Sasuke to see any light and what would it benefit to him, since Sasuke would rather gain more power for himself and care less about friends,

How do you turn an invisible emotion into power? That's like if we all had so much pure joy that it sprouted wings and turned into a flying monkey! Sasuke's "force of darkness" is madness.
P.S. How does Gaara still have his control over sand?

To be fair, using love for power was a small theme in the manga long before this. So why can't it be the same for hate?
That doesn't mean I like this chapter though.. Cause I don't.
