I used to ship SasuSaku. When I was little there was a ton of fanfiction, most of them had Sakura chasing after Sasuke, him being cold and dangerous, and Sakura changing for his sake. I quite liked the drama,- the first fanfiction I ever read.   

Considering the circumstances, shipping them now is quite a "No - No" from me. Even though I still fancy that darkness this relationship has.

I always liked Battler and Jessica together from Umineko no naku koro ni. Even though they were cousins, they always had this dynamic I loved.

And then, there was Rachel and Baam from Tower of God. There are so many flaws that ship has, and people absolutely hate Rachel. But I still liked it. Whether it's romantic or platonic, the two are complex characters with an equally complex relationship.

Ben and Gwen. She only ended up with Kevin because he was a boy near their age. I wish they hadn't been cousins.

Yeah, The creators of the show made them cousins at the last minute because they coudnt justify why an unrelated classmate went on a 3 months long summer road trip with a another classmate and his grandpa. And cartoon network is the one that thought having an unrelated classmate and grandpa and a kid was weird so they asked for the change.

 

To make matters worse the creators forgot to remove all the romantic subtext when ben and gwen weren't related And still applied to them when they became cousins. Hence theres a lot of fans that ship them along with a lot of porn art being made.

Yeah, screw the implications of two friends going on vacation with a relative, I think  they would have made a GREAT couple

Tatsuya and Miyuki from Mahouka. I know I shouldn't like this ship but for some reason, they're both just a little off in the head that it works for me. If they weren't "related", I'd be a lot more vocal about my liking of this pairing. Even if I do love Mayumi.

They could have easily come up with a reason. Like Gwen and Ben's families are close and Max offers to take Gwen with them or something. It wouldn't have been hard.

They could've easily made it so Gwen's grandfather is a dear old friend of Grandpa Max and that she has the approval of her parents to travel around. It was honestly a waste because Ben and Gwen could've been a really cute couple without their cousin relationship, the Kevin ship was forced.
