I'm way too lazy for a guy who wants to be a professional artist... no I don't mean I cut corners, I mean I just don't seem to finish what I start. I have to work on that because I'll soon be done with College before too long...gah. 

 

So yeah, he's something I need to promise myself that I'll finish

Usually when I convert these types of things to images needed to be colored on the computer, I like to add as much detail as possible, so more or less color in black and white first.

Do I suck at art guys? Or I guess I should phrase that better... do I look professional or do I look like I'm doing purely student level work? Please don't be scared to say yes, but at least explain if you do : )

Well i'm not an artist and not fit to answer ur question correctly but i do know that art u did is great .

To me, you don't have to be an artist to be a critic... Art is meant to be subjective and honestly, it's a highly opinionated field, which makes it exciting imo. 

 

If anything though, I think I'm ready to devote my free time to my craft, taking occasional breaks I suppose, but if there's one thing my little experience last night taught me, it's you can't be satisfied with everything you do because it can always get better.

I swear to God I will finish this even if it kills me... I haven't done fan art in quite some time, er rather, I haven't posted/colored/moved past sketching period fan art in quite some time.

Hello NS Forum, my goodness it's great to be back. Not that I left on purpose, rather I just had a multitude of stuff happen in succession. Forgot my username, then password, then it wouldn't let me reset, and finally all of a sudden it just kinda worked so, yeah, I'm back. Lets see if I remember how to do this s***

 

So this spoiler tag I'm posting, it was an art piece a friend of mine requested and has yet to come get from me, despite telling him it's been ready since like July.
