Bah, the Wal-Marts and Best Buy stores here are selling the game for 38.83 on release day. I SERIOUSLY want a copy, but I need my money to pay rent and buy food with.

Yeah, I'm gonna trade in some of my old PS3 games to lessen the price some more and pick it up. Assuming Gamestop/EB Games has copies left by the time I get there.

Nah, if I call my local Gamestop and they don't have any copies, and if it's the same with Walmart, I'll just say screw it and save my money for going out and buying other games during Christmas season.

Played the demo. Loved it to pieces. Release day can't come soon enough.
I did have one nitpick though; James Gordon sounded off. The voice they chose for him took some getting used to.

Batman hasn't been completely cursed with terrible games. He had some pretty solid sidescrollers in the old generations. Plus Batman Vengeance wasn't bad, despite it's issues.
The comics are probably the better place to go, in my opinion. A lot of classics to choose from and more seem to be coming all the time. Can't beat the visual aspect either, for that matter.

$38.83 in Canada is a steal for ya Cloud. We pay $60.00 a pop for ours in America.

Gametrailer's review also justifies the hype even addressing the obvious AI problem.

The game went "gold" almost a month ago. basically that means the final build of the game was sent to the factories for pressing onto disc.
over the next few weeks they produce thousands of discs a day. Usually during this period one of the employees pockets a copy of the game
and leaks it onto the net. This happens for pretty much every game regardless if its pc or console.... as a result pretty much every game leaks
onto the net weeks before its actual release...... hell.... Halo 3 leaked like a month early but that was a french review build and not the final version....
(one of my friends couldn't wait for its actual release and downloaded the game. He played it to completion in French :3 nothing like seeing
Sgt Johnson speaking in french XD (he eventually bought the english version when it officially released. But we still play his french version at lans when we want a laugh ))
