Only makes you wonder how powerful the ten tails really is if he's really all of the nine Bijuus combine together.

The ten-tailed was trapped in the place we call the "Moon" using the technique that pain used on Naruto.

If you became the ten-tails...I would pretty much say that would make you God. More or less the ability to create and destroy anything and everything in the blink of an eye. To think, no one could beat the full nine-tails without dying and even then they could only harness it, not kill it.

why did it tell him not to kill Naruto or else he'd regret it?

My guess is probably what catsi563 mentioned, that the nine-tails can get freedom if it can dominate Naruto's spirit. In which case, the warning to Sasuke is more like, "if you try to kill Naruto and fail, you will regret it when I do get free."

In hindsight, should've known that Naruto wasn't going to defeat his aggressive side by fighting. This issue kinda reminded me of "The Enemy Within", the Star Trek episode where Kirk gets split into his good and bad parts. Except we find out that it isn't quite so black & white.

And what is it that makes one man an exceptional leader? We see here indications that it is his negative side that makes him strong, that his 'evil' side, if you will, properly controlled and disciplined, is vital to his strength.

If Naruto dies Kyuubi dies with it, but if Kyuubi takes full control over Naruto then Naruto dies and Kyuubi is reborn. The Kyuubi is sealed within him but he only has half the power in his control, I believe other half locked inside of him, somewhere...

This is most likely why Kyuubi said that. If Sasuke kills Naruto then Kyuubi dies too, that's also why Danzo wanted to kill him or send him to the Moon; so Madara wouldn't get his hands on him.

I'm having a hard time believing that was true though. I think Rikudou sealed the ten-tails inside him and before he died, he sealed it inside his youngest son who founded the Senju clan, due to the kindness and power of the body his youngest son had. It helps explain why the power of the tails was divided up and given to different nations as a peace offering, if i remember correctly, or was it Rikudou who divided the tailed beast before he died?

No, I think he gave the title as leader of the Senju to his youngest son and divided the tails before then.

You are correct and the Rikudou split the bijuu up before he died.

Pretty much agree that it was a meh chapter. Most likely, we'll have one or two (hopefully just one) that's like this before things get really interesting because it's probable that KB has some explaining/teaching to do before Naruto does anything.

I wanted to see more Dark Naruto, but if I think about it, I really like the way he was portrayed. It's not the stereotypical I-am-your-evil-twin-and-my-soul-is-entirely-black dark side because you can see that Naruto's dark side doesn't just include hatred/evil (or whatever you want to call it). It encompasses his other negative feelings like his feelings of insecurity and inadequacy...and it shows that this side to him isn't this all powerful thing, but that Dark Naruto can feel hurt emotionally. I kind of liked that...and I liked Naruto's face when he hugged Dark Naruto. It was one of those moments where I realized just how much Naruto's grown up. He looked so mature when he thanked Dark Naruto and hugged him; his facial expression clearly indicates that he understands Dark Naruto and he sympathizes.

Although I was disappointed that we didn't get to see Dark Naruto talk about people other than the villagers, I think I'm okay with it because it shows that Naruto is getting stronger (not just physically) because he's learning to believe in himself and his own strength...and he's learning to rely on himself. This is a big step because he won't hesitate as much anymore hopefully

Anyway, I don't think we'll see much of Naruto next chapter, I think tKishimoto show someone else for suspense.

Alright thats what I guessing at, any way the chapter was so-so, cool to see Naruto accept himself, but nothing that wasn't expected. I too hope that a real fight ensues.

Look at the image closer. It's a picture of the Hachibi firing one of it's Menacing Balls at the moon. It's most likely going to be important in one form or another.
