How do you feel about Hinata?

Alexander I think the real question to ask is just how many anti Sakura fans are out there? a lot of the Hinata fans are obviously Sakura haters and they only see the Hyuga as the perfect repalcement for Naruto when it concerns the "love interest" of the protagonist. Because she's cute, she's nice, she likes the hero since the beginning of the series and of course because she has big breast those are enough reasons for them to like her and give her a lot of popularity.
Hinata is the perfect love interest for Naruto in their eyes for qualities I have mentioned above, as long as its not Sakura the one who gets Naruto. Quite frankly without resolting to any bashing I think all those Hinata fans and anti Sakura fans are just jealous of Sakura that's mainly why they're obssession for Hinata comes from as well as their hatred for our favorite pink haired girl.
Sakura:
-is a main character of the manga (heroine important to the plot) Hinata is a secondary character (not important to the plot at all).
-She's the protagonist's love interest.
-She's one of the first people who acknowledged Naruto since the beginning of the manga.
-She understands Naruto's bond with Sasuke more than anyone (more than Hinata obviously, while she on other hand doesn't know the lenght of his bond with the Uchiha).
-She has become very close to Naruto (way more than Hinata) from someone she thought as annoying, to see him as a great teammate, to see him as a great friend and to eventually as a great love interest eventually leading to the development of slow romantic feelings.
-She's the one who keeps him in cheks like a dog on a leash whenever he acts stupid or perverted, she teaches him obedience (while Hinata well I won't even bother saying it).
-She's the only one who believes in him more than anyone in the village or probably the whole world, she has a lot of faith in him (Hinata on the other hand quite honestly I think she doesn't believe in him, she admires him and cares him because he's always trying hard but she doesn't has any faith in him).
-She risked losing her chance of being happy with Naruto by trying to kill Sasuke in order to protect him from the Uchiha and the possibility of getting capture by Akatsuki, resulting to his death for extraction of the Kyuubi (Hinata was willing to die protecting him I admire her for her sacrifice but I still see it as a selfish sacrifice).

She is a very minor character whose existence is irrelevant to the plot.
If the legend about her origin is true (according that account, Hinata supposedly was a draft of a nameless villager. Then Kishimoto realized he needed a third member for Team 8, and chose using that draft instead of creating a new likeness for that character), then her role was going to be even more inisignificant, since she wouldn't even participate in the Chuunin Exams (notice the most of her appearances and almost all her relevant scenes happened in the Chuunin Exams arc), but Kishimoto used her in order to create more tension between Naruto and Neji prior to their battle.
After the Naruto vs Neji fight went down, her relevance vanished nearly altogether. She had no further purpose. That is because we barely saw her afterwards, and she never did something noteworthy. She even was used like comic relief for one scene.
Kishimoto used her again when he wanted closing the last dangling plot thread involving her (if she was in love with Naruto or not, and if she would ever reveal her feelings to him), and so she lost the last remnant of significance she had left. She might not show up ever again and it would not change one thing (her confession didn't change one thing, after all).
I don't feel anything about her. Usualy I like characters because I like their design, personality or powers. I don't find interesting the kind of stereotype Hinata is (yet, everything in fiction is a stereotype, and I can see past it if I find the execution is interesting. Sadly, that isn't the case with Hinata), I don't think she is beautiful or looks cool, and I don't find her power or fighting style too interesting (besides, Neji is more powerful, so he sort of outshines her).
However I don't dislike her neither I hate her nor think she is ugly or fat or dumb or pitifully weak or a failure or a stalker or everything else her haters call her.
Simply she is there. And I don't pay her attention.
Some of her followers can be tiring, going on and on and ON about how she is the prettiest, strongest ninja ever, how she is the most important character in the manga and everyone else are trash, looking clues for everywhere she and Naruto will hook up, and repeating she will have a very important role in the next arc -because she MUST- and getting shocked and amazed when she does not.
But I am not going to hate a character, pairing or series only because some fans may be exhasperant.
In a nutshell: I feel nothing about her.
^ All of this.
Back from the dead. It's a shame what happened. NaruSaku will live on.

Remember, this thread is about our unbiased opinions on Hinata as a character, nothing more, and we want to keep it going for as long as we can, let it run its course. Okay, dude?

When Naruto forgot about her and her confession, I felt sorry for that shy, insecure, and silly girl I didn't like 'til that moment. I hope she'll forget about him and starts a new life.
I hate both Naruto and Sakura, but for some strange reason I think they were made for each other.
You don't understand? Me neither... so stop asking already.

my point about Hinata is :
- at the beginning of the manga, i liked her character, because she wouldn't hurt a bug you know, she tried hard to change what she didn't liked in herserlf.
For me, she's more admirative about Naruto than romantically involved !
I think she's making a mistake believing she's in love with Naruto.
She was admirative, and she wanted to be like him.
For me, this is NOT true love.
I may be wrong, but that's what I think
Demo, I never ever saw her differently than a secondary character.
I really don't understand how all those naruhina shippers got their crazy fandom about her and the pairing !! Oh maybe it was because of the anime !!!!! Hinata dancing at night in the water have made a lot of damage ! LOL
I don't think the fact that she's a secondary character would made her pairing with naruto impossible, but it would be like : "pop" of nowhere !
Just thinking that, make me wanna laugh !
Naruto always loved Sakura so much... his devotion for her is huge !
I really don't see him changing side like that... it's not like him.
but it's not the subject here ! lol sorry
Actually, what I think after she confessed : i'm impressed, because i would never ever imagined her telling to Naruto she loved him.
But i still see her as a secondary character, and Naruto hasn't run to her yet 0_o so...
I think fandom about their pairing are just hallucinating...
I don't hate her, she's a good character, but i truly think fans of her are imaginating things...
I think all those fans that truly think NaruHina will happen have a great lack of maturity in love... adults are seeing the love between Naruto and Sakura.
sorry about my english if it's not so good

But think that's a stupid reason to love someone.
I mean Naruto looked up to the 4th Hokage and wanted to surpass him so he could be respected as he was but he didn't love his father in a romantic way.
In support of the Sakura we once knew:

I like Hinata and im happy she was able to change. she barley knows Naruto she sees him to much as a role model and that blinds her to the real Naruto. plus her love for Naruto isn't really true love if you look at it. she was never there for him and when she jumped in during the Pain fight (Witch benefited her not Naruto) she made the situation worse and Naruto saved himself not Hinata it was selfish just like she said. as a background secondary character her development is finished now.

So yeah, how do you feel about Hinata? Do you think she's awesome, cute, etc. Or do you just not like her? Er.. if you don't like her, give legitimate reasons.
I don't dislike Hinata as a person but sometimes she just kind of creeps me out in her obsession with Naruto(maybe because she gets in the way of Naruto and Sakura's growing relationship) anyway yeah nice, cool,a little shy and sometimes i wish she didnt have byaakugan because of the veins and maybe what she's looking at with those eyes of hers.HAHA!
