This is sort of off the general conversation but is anyone else wondering how Hashirama is going to react to Madara having not just the Rinnegan but Mokuton as well? In fact, how is he going to beat that combination? Being able to counter Mokuton with Mokuton is one thing but the Rinnegan offers quite a few extremely powerful abilities like the HGR. Plus you've got Jubi which doesn't seem like it would go down as easily as the Kyubi given its size and much larger reserves of chakra.

I think this is a strong foreshadowing...





If you think about it, when the shoulder thing happened, Kurama wasn't involved, now Kurama's thoughts happen to be exactly in concordance with Sakura's... I know you will say the thing with the shoulder made us see a foreshadowing, but if you think about it, when that happened, Kurama had nothing to say... Now, he happens to think exactly what Sakura does.

I know what you mean. That's why I feel that OVA 2011 could happen. Anyway, it's finally at the point that Naruto is near danger, rather than other time, he was still in good shape, just mentally challenged by losses. But now, he's really near his limit unless he decided to use it for himself. This is only the beginning of the chapter, so anything can happen.

Plus, the only thing that can stand up to the Juubi aside from the Bijuus is Hashirama's True Thousand Hands Jutsu/Statue since it's approximately as big as the Juubi. But I have doubts if SM can work with a corpse.

While I do like that panel, I'm not gonna put much weight in it. As it is, from my POV, both that and 617 are equally strong hints/foreshadowing.

What I want to know is now what for Madara. No one is controlling the beast. Madara got nothing with them, so it feel like the beast will do its own job as Madara may go for another. It's hard to say for now, but I feel like Kishi may set up 3 battles. Again, early interpretation, but it seems beast handling it alone sounds plausible, especially since Madara can't be a jinchuuriki. This is interesting. Minato coming back is probably one of the most waited moment now.

Yeah probably 3 fights will commence. Naruto seemed close to exhaustion now and if he used his chakra to protect everybody after that last attack from the Juubi so it seems plausible for Minato to show up and help Naruto with the Juubi. But I see the shinobi army retreating because of the blast.

Over all Nice chapter but nothing great as I was hoping happened to NS. I hope kishi soon does something better to make it up with all the lead he gave to NH, but I rarely see anything coming down for NS now. It is nearly the end of manga and if kishi is gonna troll the pairings now and then the end pairing will be fully questionable no matter how much development was given to them.

I say it's a good sign compared to NH. IN NH interaction we had nothing coming from Naruto, yet, we've had from Sakura... Twice!
Also, fun stuff, did you guys notice the selfish line is written on Hinata's panel? Maybe I am picking up on every detail, but I find it funny... Pein Arc all over again?
