And by changing the ending of the manga, did the ending bring them wealth? The production and advertisement was 13 million US dollars while domestically TL grossed just about 17 million, which is 1.8 billion yen. And if what i heard is true that SP failed to make the 4 million mark with TL in the seven countries that aired the film, they failed to bank from the west and China. By now, SP knows that they will never get wealth of the NH fandom. And now they have shamed themselves in front of their own countrymen and wronged them with misleads, false advertisements, false pre-order ticket no refund policy fraud and staged interviews. It's not about money anymore. it's about their reputation.
They have pretty much loss respect and loyal. It will be almost impossible to gain the fans and customers trust again. The only way is to start from scratch and at the bottom. And to do that is to make a different ending. Whatever the original ending rather if NS was intended to be or not. They should do it. And like I said above in my previous posts, I believe they are stalling with the fillers to see rather if the DVDs in the US and the Bolt film will do before they make the final decision.
And its no coincidence that Kishi wrote the Poal in the final 10 chapters of the original manga and the flashback of little Sakura actually cares for Naruto. I'm willing to wager that Kishi already wrote the complete story (that never made it to canon) before the original manga came to an end. If by some chance they actually have second thoughts, I think this is where the plot holes left by Kishi will be filled in.
