Thanks for the complements. After reading the manga for over 10 years you get the idea which is the pairing Kishimoto favors.

 

NH-this pairing has always been kept in the dark for far too long. No development, no progress zero this pairing is not going anywhere. 

SS-everything Kishi has shown for the future of this pairing is all NEGATIVE and that is definitely not good.

Ah I thought about something. If Naruto isn't talking to Sakura, those lines are really ONLY about the plot.
Look again with me guys, you'll see we almost have the plot here with those sentences.

Naruto is saying that he must talk to someone, at all cost. So it's very important. "at all cost' implies that it's a life or death question. Without this part, it could be something about confessing to Sakura, but with this urgency vibe, I don't think so anymore. Maybe Naruto is leaving Konoha to go say something to Gaara, and maybe that's why we saw him on a rocky land. Maybe he's traveling in the film, to save someone or to prevent someone about something. It could be Gaara. Gaara's sketch has been released first with the others. I think he's important in the plot.

Sasuke is saying that "if he's not here". He must be talking about Naruto. So while Naruto is on his way, Sasuke will protect Kakashi. It feels like he's kind of "forced" to do it. Because he's saying he has no choice. Or maybe it's just him being a jerk as usual.

Kakashi is talking like a hokage, and he looks like he's arguing with someone, maybe it's the elders, or Tsunade, dunno. Maybe someone is worrying about his choices.

You know...I wonder if SP will give us hints in the anime? Since they obviously now know how everything ends. If we get more NaruSaku fanservice in the anime, perhaps it's a sign of what's yet to come.
Okay, the theory is weak and shaky, but it's possible!

But I also wouldn't be surprised if they threw out a ton of red herrings...like they did RtN.

 

Is it sad that, since no pairings are confirmed until (maybe in) the movie, I'm not really expecting much from the manga, pairing-wise?

Man...Kishi better have something big to keep the attention of the manga followers now that it's pretty much confirmed that Sasuke lives and (it's extremely likely that) Kakashi is hokage.

 

Also, Naruto -better- be hokage by the end of the movie, or else I (among many others) will be piiiiiissssssssed.

Aside from NaruSaku, that is pretty important to me. I want to see Naruto as hokage! That was his dream since the very beginning of the manga before Sasuke went all 'angstangstREVENGE'.

Perhaps Saskue is protecting Garra? Given his current desert attire? 

 

The only way I can see Saskue willingly (if grudgingly) protecting anybody is if he will gain something out of it. 

 

Who knows, maybe Saskue simply started his own village and is just one Kage helping another.

This Thank You  , but you know when its about Kakashi and Sasuke people are willing to disregard everything but please do hold Naruto to the same standards     . Naruto saves the village people saying that he should be the Hokage , Saves the shinobi alliance and the world  Kakashi sits on his ass gains an asspull does one thing and is Hokage despite never wanting that or being his dream (kitten Tsunade's goal and dream) but he is bc of Obito so he can live his dream despite all the kitten he has done no prob all is good beautiful writing  .

Naruto is not "ready" despite sowing maturity in this war and some brains and being respected by everyone , leading the army on his shoulders for the whole war and his No.1 TNJ that convinces anyone  means he's definitely "not ready" for it and isn't right  Gaara is a different case he was 16/17 ok but its ok no prob     .

 

Do I even need to mention if Sasuke is being back in Konoha and is a guardian now ?   *sign*.

What truly pisses me off. Is not that Sasuke is back in Konoha, I've had a bad feeling that this was going to happen a long time ago, so I'm in a way I'm prepared for that bs. Is not even that Kakashi is the Hokage.

What pisses me off the most is that this movie if it's really canon, spoils the Naruto vs Sasuke fight. I lost any interest in reading the manga to see the outcome of this fight, because we already know the outcome. There's no suspense, there's no "OMG What will happen?" it's just gone.

 

No Naruto isn't ready and No, he doesn't have all the qualities to be a good leader! He isn't rational sometimes. He doesn't think logically but instead reacts on emotions. Have you forgotten the 'cool guy' reference he made to that criminal Obito? Don't even get me started on his decision making abilities. No criminal would ever be punished if the current Naruto becomes Hokage. Naruto has to mature a lot before he's ready to become a good leader. 

 

Contrast this to the previous Hokages- Sarutobi, Minato and even Gaara to certain extent. All of them were cool, collected and made decisions based on logic and not emotions. That is an important trait for a leader.

 

Gaara is nothing like Naruto. He stays calm most of the times and doesn't rush into making emotional decisions. And he is not as forgiving as Naruto.

 

 

I'm sorry but this is just a ridiculous comparison. How can you compare marriage to administration? I hope this was just a joke.

 

 

 

Totally agree. And this is precisely the reason why Naruto is not ready to be the Hokage yet. He is too soft in the heart. 

Naruto has to mature and understand a bit of realism. A more hardened way of looking at life and its realities only comes with age.  

No I have not forgotten the "Cool guy" quote. But here's the thing even though that quote is retarded, it worked. What Naruto did with Obito worked. What Kakashi tried to do with Obito failed. Why? Because Kakashi is a failure. All he has ever done ended in failure.

It took him years to finally get Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke to work together for once lousy attack.

Even though I didn't like the way Naruto handled Obito, the fact of the matter is that it worked. Nothing Kakashi tried worked.
I'm sorry mate but I still say Kakashi being the Hokage now is just plain stupid.

I'm sorry, but the sarcastic support of SS and NH on here is really getting annoying now. It's not funny anymore. We are not even talking about the movie anymore, but rather making a mockery of all the NH and SS fanbase of their outrageous idealism.
