I mean did they even explain anything about Kaguya.

I wonder how. Hinata get stuck in a cocoon because she's her, Sasuke got to be a kitten until the very last chapter, and Naruto just got to keep killing his character.

Whining? When? You mean when he showed up and he told everyone he's going to be the Hokage? Nothing wrong with that scene.

when she finally realized this late in the series that sasuke doesn't care about her.

True. Though more oddly enough, the movie is when NH launch and I don't even know when SS makes any move. It literally gives you a choice to ignore the ending.

i wonder if they'll show the CPR scene or just skip it? its like the anime is devided lol nh/ss get the canon, NS get the fillers

Well, they already insert whole filler arc to decrease whole moment quality, so hafl of people will forget that Sakura trying her best to save Naruto til the end of this chunin exam.

They briefly touched on her in the manga, nothing about her personal backstory though.

In long terms - it's practicaly a killing scene for her character as whole. Strongest female shinobi ended as housewife in her last picture in canon-story... FFS.
