If yes, then : why would Kishi make it so obvious in this movie? He's basically stuffing the pairing down our throats. Why? Why now? What is this leading up to?

Might make a new thread about this, but some people completely avoid the movie thread to negate any chance of spoilers, however we all ruined the movie for ourselves already

(EDIT: to clarify, common knowledge of the movie is one of the reasons I'm posting in this thread right now)

I still can't believe they didn't choose any SS or NH comments and I'm sure they DID receive a lot of them.

That's why I feel like my confident is rising too heavily. I mean yes, manga is still going on but what's the deal with all of these NaruSaku references. It's really surprising to see the chosen comments to have NaruSaku. You would think that they would pick something Hinata stuff, but I digress. Like I said, every form of media seems to be on NaruSaku. Games, anime, ovas, movies, you name it. It's only matter of time.

Anyone understand any of what they were discussing about Naruto and Sakura? Cause it sounded like they were talking about them a lot. Junko is so adorable calling Sakura Sakura-chan!

Am I the only one to find irony in this given Hinata's last thoughts towards Naruto in the manga?

Hey guys apparently the movie will be released in some cinemas around the world aswell, according to Lantern6 from deviantart ( a japanese artist that joined DA recently and discovered by Amanda sketches ) he/she said that it was announced officially on their Twitter page!! If this is true, some of us will be able to watch it way before April!! I hope they will release it in Australia lol

I really hope they release it somewhere near where I live - if they are doing international releases in theaters, than USA's got a good chance of getting it - right?

Perhaps Kishi feels that his end pairing has been obvious all along? Maybe he's close to canonizing NaruSaku in the manga to the point that no one can deny they are/are going to be the end game pairing, thus he feels that he can now start pulling out the big guns so to speak?

All I know is that this corroborates what the manga tells us - that Naruto and Sakura's relationship is something Kishi cares about, evidenced by how much focus, development, and attention he gives it over so many other relationships in the manga.

That's the thing. NS seems obvious from the movie yet how they interact with each other in the movie isn't anything different from the manga. It's not OOC or weird but natural. Maybe Kishi is saying that it's obvious in the manga too.

1) I believe so. He is THE Menma that Naruto supposed to be mistaken with.

2) Akatsuki is good in the AU world. Tsunade hired them to save Naruto and Sakura.

3) I don't think so. It should be blue, but red makes it more evil.

For Naruto, he went straight to Sakura without contacting his enemies. Pretty much they have to come to him. I find it sweet. He even kage bushin in order to distract them so he can save Sakura. What a guy. I guess that's why all original character from other movies falls for him.

Menma actually has 2 blue eyes but when he is being controlled by Tobi, his right eye turns into the sharingan while his left is still blue. So yes, he has one red and one blue eye while he does the final battle with Naruto. A lot of artists just like giving him red eyes to emphasize the evil portion of him and also for contract to the bands around his arms. Gives a more sinister look.

Oh, Amanda! I had no idea that was your pic! I saw this one this a.m. on the NF link from this thread, and it pushed me over the edge to write a Sakura/Menma fic. So I've been clackity-clacking away all morning. Lol - I was actually just thinking I needed to find the artist so I could link to it when I posted the story. It's so beautiful, I should have known it was you!!! *trots off to DA to leave a comment on it*

Oh man, imagine the manga. Once you see another NaruSaku, I imagine a meltdown. But yeah, he is protective for Sakura. Remember what Yamato said, "If you are going to protect Sakura, do it with your power."

Btw, to answer your earlier post, games I'm referring are Storm 2, Ultimate Ninja Impact, 3DS game, and there could be more, but that's all I remember. I like Ultimate Ninja Impact ending. It ended with Naruto and Sakura walking together alone in a field. Nice scene.

I got a friend, Makoto, to translate it for me.

It seems the fence is really nicely done. It does speak on its own. I like how they don't make eye contact, because they know each other like that and the fence that splits them symbolizes splitting apart. I want to see the movie so bad!

While it is true that in every Naruto movie that involves a filler princess she begins by disliking Naruto and then grow fond of him while the movie progresses, I think that so far only 2 of them got romantic feelings for him.

The first one would be Shion in the 1st Shippuden movie. She definitely is by far the greatest offender since by the end scene she basically said that she wanted to have sex with Naruto. I still can believe they actually got away with including that scene.

Then there was the 2nd Shippuden movie with Amaru, I think that was her name. By the ending it seemed she grew very attached to Naruto, but it wasn't as blatant as it was with Shion. I do think she started liking Naruto judging by her facial reactions.

The rest of the movies with a filler princess do have her growing fond of Naruto but it's up to interpretation as to what level of fondness it was.

Maybe we could also count Kakashi since he basically took the role of princess in the 3rd Shippuden movie. It doesn't help that by the end of the movie he made a comment to Naruto that caused him and the rest of the Konoha 11 to mistake him for gay.

Lol. Yeah. My main point is that they always ended up liking Naruto, whether it's in romance sense or not. It's basically the animator way of saying, "Naruto is totally a guy you should date, ladies."

I am happy that Sakura is this movie princess and Kishi is the one that did this. Best part is that Sakura actually fights instead of being hopeless. Funny, the first movie he done and already sparks too much interest in NaruSaku. What gives, Kishi? I bet his wife is happy for him to do something nice for the heroine. I mean his family did watch the movie.

Well yeah, that scene of her lonely will be sad because she's now in Naruto's shoe. So it's like rewatching Naruto's flashback without bad remarks. Now she knows the pain that Naruto has to go. I still remember how third Hokage said that deep inside, Naruto is hurt. Another moment that Sakura understands Naruto.

About watching Naruto, it will be a sad scene because you can't help but feel sorry for Naruto. She's happy but sad because he can't live there since it's not real. I want to see her emotions play since Kishi always known for it.

Please be true. Day 1 for me!
