What is the general expectation for this next movie? Personally, I'm curious to learn if it's going to be shoujo based as "The Last" was (there's no implied or potential relationship that can be reinforced with a movie from the mutant generation, so that would leave only SS, ShikaTema, or ChoKarui as the pairings to allocate resources in developing in the anime) or if the writers will make an effort to entice the older shonen elements of the fanbase by pulling the series back to its roots. 

OMG! Making shonen for years, then twist the ending in to shoujo, and now making shoujo?  :zaru:


Even a rock has something it can be used for. There's a way for them to shine that even a jewel can't compare to - Sakamochi Tatsuma :lulz:

Maybe it will copy Yokai-Watch. Naruto is identity crisis series.

More NH and some SS "beatiful" teasing. Salat and Bolto. Kishimoto don't even belive it will be about ninja's he's "part 3", lmao.

NS may not be a perfect pairing, but it's a whole lot better than NH and SS.

Seriously? That yahagi-guy was enthusiastic? For what reason...after seeing how the story had been slayed over and over again after he left, it is kinda fishy if he still interested to know such thing as what happen to his legacy

He's probably just being polite. Who knows. Maybe he really did enjoy how Kishi handled the story after he left, but I doubt it.

Well I've already made my sentiments on the plausibility of Naruto's absence and the lack of romantic inclination from either of the two spawn you referenced clear. That leaves only SS for exploitation in promotional material. But it's not going to be treated as much more than a side-attraction compared to the greater role that Sasuke's individual character possesses.

NH never was a thing in manga, nor it was popular in Japan, and you saw what they promoted movie as.
