My question is "the equivalent of a 13 episode season" refers to the last or RtN?

 

"All that costs a crap load of money, and that is probably why the movie is schedule to release on a measly 20 theaters in the USA in February, which is honestly a ridiculously low number for a movie that has to make at least 36 million dollars in worldwide box office sales to escape flop status when compared to its predecessor (because RtN made 3 times its cost in sales)"

 

My question is the person says that 20 theaters numbers is ridiculously low number? Does it mean the movie should be released less than that just to get profit?

It refers to RtN, yes. Don't forget that the Chikara filler arc was also originally intended to be incorporated within a movie before it was downsized to accommodate the anime.

I believe it was RtN. Well a reference link would have to be presented for confirmation, but I don't follow the anime so another person would have to verify it.

If you had to pick between watching Naruto The Last and The Last Airbender Movie, Which movie would you choose?

Last Airbender. Though Shyamalan failed, at least he tried to make it closer to the dource material.

Naruto was supposed to grow up along the way and realize that Sasuke couldn't be saved.
Didn't Kishimoto himself say that he wanted to write a story about a friend who became an enemy when he wrote Naruto? How does such a story end? The enemy becomes a friend again? Freakin lame.

U should never bring reality into a manga,it will always end bad and ruined.U can use elements like logic and other things but don't play with reality.This is what happens when u play with reality.

It's lemon and honey-lemon. xD You gotta admit though cherry and chocolate (Sakura and Sasuke) would actually be delicious together. At least make Hinata blueberry and Naruto lemon then it'd be lemon-blueberry. Whoever picked the flavors don't know kitten.

This is an outstanding point and one I've not really considered before. I know I argued with someone on here a few weeks ago about the confession scene, and misquoted Sakura's comments, but I DO think it is possible to interpret her comment that "the fool's in love with me" that she doesn't take his love seriously. I'm not sure I'd necessarily agree, but I wouldn't rule out such an interpretation.

 

And yeah, I definitely would have liked to have seen Naruto get mad just once. Like when he's talking to Kakashi and Kakashi references Minato. Shouldn't Naruto get mad that Kakashi never talked to him about this? That he knew who his parents were? Naruto almost turns into a caricature.

I have to disagree with this  bc the context of the scene and event later events implies that that's not the case  only someone with self inserted  BS no reading comprehension *cough* NH/SS  * cough *can interpret it differently .  

 

You have to follow the scenes the context  to see it for what it is   for that reason we had the POAL flashback  , Sakura figuring out Naruto's pain and love for her  (you don't cry for someone if you don't take him seriously )  and the culmination of this is her confession  bc she did take his feelings very much seriously to the point that it shocked her and hurt her .  This ending doesn't change that  it was just Retconed like so many other things  , you have to have zero reading comprehension  and have tunnel  vision to interpret it differently  bc from writing POV  it makes no sens at all for that to be the case .

You have to admit though that Sasuke's "redemption" was so badly handled being so rushed and unconvincing. It's just bad writing, and with Sasuke being replaced by Hinata as one of the main characters it seems like it'd be a more fitting and satisfying ending for him if he died.

All this reminds me of the Mass Effect trilogy. These people NH and SStards have been indoctrinated like nothing i ever experienced before. Kishi is the catalyst, SP are the Reapers and the fans (NH, SS, etc) who support them are the brainless husk that devours ever little scraps of kitten thrown to them by Kishi and SP.

People continue to throw around erratic calculations for how much of "The Last's" box office was earned via shady ticket policies. First we hear of an estimate somewhere in the neighborhood of ¥55 million, now it's blown-up to ¥500 million. No one seems to have any worthwhile sources that they can cite, nothing but word of mouth is being offered up for requests of verification.
