I wonder when "The Last" is going to be removed from Japanese cinema. The extent of its lifespan must be close at hand, it's already been one and a half months since the initial release. Although with the end of its outing at the domestic scene comes the inevitable acclamation in other regions of the world where the material is appreciated by fans of the characters and relationship concept.

How did that poster come up with the 12 million USD estimate for the cost of "The Last"?

yes early part 2 had interations to build their relationship more, but that's also where their relationship should have been solidified because at that point it was obvious that sakura had feelings for naruto. there was absolutely no reason for her to continue having feelings for sasuke at that point, and it looked like that was the case too. 
 
and that's the problem. naruto used sasuke to determine important things in his life to pursue, becoming hokage and confessing to sakura. can't become hokage unless sasuke is safe. can't confess to sakura unless sasuke is saved. it's kitten writing and gives more credit that naruto was just a plot device while sasuke was the main character.
 
 
and it did lack communication before the kage arc, it's why their relationship remained stagnant instead blossoming into the couple we all yearned for years. 

In part 1 most NS interaction come from naruto with little bit of sakura until poal and naruto reaffirmation of poal.

In part 2 most NS interaction come from sakura with little bit of naruto until sakura confession.

In war arc, there are no meaningful NS interaction. There are two reason why it happen :
1. Kishi killed NS.
2. Kishi halt NS. Because they are already in boiling point. To the point their next interaction will lead to naruto confession.

Well Frozen didn't need to shove their ideas onto people, it was a great movie that people loved because it actually made sense and had logic behind it
SP is trying so hard to make it seem like what they did was great, when in truth it isn't, so they try to shove it down people's throat.

They tried to be One Piece or more because they are popular. But instead, they're getting mocked by live action Parasyte, Yokai Watch that was launched two years ago, barely. Big Hero 6, which kind of say, "Dude, we can do basic premise and we can stil be ahead of time, Naruto. And we're not referring to the story."

My guess is that they're treating Naruto something that isn't. I wasn't aware two years ago Jump Festa had some band (I forgot) playing in Naruto booth. That screams too much of a mainstream. So, now, my guess is that they're targetting Shoujo land or I'll go as far as saying Twilight category.

Blame Kage Summit Arc. Things take time but instead, Kishi decided to revive the love triangle when every databank said that's gone. Don't have to be all lovey dovey, just unleash it when the time come. But yeah...pretty much that arc ruined everything. Then, the last arc destroyed the series.

 

This is probably what we was going on in Kishi's head: 

 

"Let me just kitten tease these fans into this." 

 

 

Come to chapter 631 and Kishi goes "Oh you're getting closer slowly but slowly." 

 

And then comes Chapter 693, and 699 comes around and he's like "The cocktease was just an illusion here's what I planned." 

 

 

Then you have me doing this to Kishi, planned out my left foot

I think you're right, they're trying to make Naruto into something it's not.

It remind me of how messy it got with DmC when people thought they changed the look because of Twilight is the popular topic, so copy what works: emo boys. Today day of age, they want to get huge by following the step that got them popular.

So they're saying kitten you to the fans that originally got Naruto popular and are trying to attract a different type of fanbase. How well did that work out for DmC?

Exactly.

Well, sale did good, but the reception from Fanbase is still negative and the game isn't all that. To be honest, it's good, but man, the identity is really lost. It felt so strange to witness some of the moments that's like a B-Movie content and I don't mean acting. Just some of the stuff that is weird. I don't know. I guess that kitten joke is what told me how urban we gotten.

also, naruto gets praised for putting sakura's feelings above his own, but i think i'm gonna have to call bullsh** on that. that selfless act isn't winning him any brownie points. naruto should have smacked some sense into sakura by telling her that sasuke is no good for her at all. forget playing the nice guy act, lives are at stake here. he doesn't have to necessarily tell her to be with him because he treats her like a human being. he should just say that there are so much better guys out there for her and leave it at that.

 

ns wasn't as realistic as i hoped it would be, so the chances of the two sitting down and having a conversation about their feelings were slim to none.

 

Your point has nothing really to do with NaruSaku or their communication. You are observing a fundamental characteristic of Naruto that he had since the beginning. It's completely independent of any NaruSaku interaction. The reason Naruto never called Sakura out about Sauske is because Naruto never ever saw Sasuke as a bad guy. Naruto "saw" the goodness is Sasuke even when he was his rival. And he considered Sasuke his best friend though Sasuke put a hole in his chest.

 

How is he going to turn around and tell Sakura Sasuke's bad for her when all he wanted was for sasuke to acknowledge him too? If Sasuke was good enough to be his "brother" obviously he was good enough for Sakura. So thinking Naruto would ever tell Sakura that Sasuke was bad for her was out of the question since early part 1. It was always about Naruto trying to get Sakura to notice him over Sasuke, not her thinking Sasuke was bad.

 

So the real problem is Kishimoto's questionable insight into friendship and "brotherhood"

 

The reality is NS communication is as good as any relationship in the manga.

 

But when Naruto is in denial about Sasuke + Not wanting to see Sakura cry you get Naruto enabling Sakura to keep believing in Sasuke (which she does), he doesn't ever tell Sakura how bad Sasuke has gotten (Sakura learns of Sasuke's misdeeds through third party) he'll also drop Sasuke at her feet
