One Piece Heart of Gold is now subbed online!

 

Was a good 90 minutes of One Piece.

 

What we learned

Oda confirmed in Film Gold interview that we are at the 65% mark now in the manga. Good sign seeing how just a year ago, one of his editors said we were 70% done back when we were really 62% done. We have A LOT of One Piece left. About 7-9 years.

 

Sanji can speak some english.

 

Nami is a thief still.

 

Chopper can communicate to all mammals and reptiles, but not dinosaurs, because plot.

 

Every character gets a zoom in to show their new outfits. For Robin, it's her butt. For Nami, her breast.

 

They did a great job hyping up Carina. Apparently she out thieved Nami as her rival (back 2-4 years ago, when Nami was stealing to free her town from Arlong), and at some point used her as a decoy to escape, leaving her to die. No wonder we see them hate each other in the trailers. Can't wait to see her in Gold.

 

CP0 is weak. Like... very weak. We see these guys in mask in Dressrosa looking all dangerous, but they can't handle a villain Luffy could beat without haki and gear second if he wanted to. Does Rob Lucci himself make that group scary? Because this special took away so much hype for them.

 

That little girl can live a normal life with her father now. So beautiful.

 

I really love how much time this special gave Chopper. We finally got to see him in action. He played a big key role in unlocking 2 of the doors.

So Germa is as powerful as I thought. Considering that Germa is struggling to take over North Blue indicates that they aren't that strong. Sanji seems stronger than the leader (his father), because Sanji didn't even use the 100 spices (or whatever they're called) that Ivankov taught him, and he still forced Judge to use human shields. Zoro and Luffy could both probably solo all of Germa 66. Seeing as how Sanji took the hits (chilling on the ground), he didn't seem like he wanted the fight. He even told his father that he was the one to start it. Hard for him to go all out on family.

 

I've seen theories of people saying Sanji's strong admiration and need to protect women has to be because of whatever happened to his mother. She is obviously dead, and Sanji must of took after his mother, while all his siblings took after their father. Maybe Sanji was the last baby to come out, and it was what pushed his mother over the edge, killing her. Maybe that's why they hated him so much, and his father wouldn't help him.

 

This chapter makes it seem pretty obvious the Big Mom alliance is coming. Sanji needs the key. We still don't know why Big Mom wants Caesar Clown, but it has to be for something important. We've only seen Big Mom be evil when she goes into her strange eating disorder fits. Maybe Caesar has something to do with that. After all, he did make the candies that caused the kids to go into evil states until they had more candy. Maybe Big Mom used him to grow stronger (making her a giant), but he stopped giving her whatever he was giving her to help Doflamingo and Kaido.

If Pudding is really an ally, then she should have no problem giving Sanji the key. Problem is, she's probably not.

I will repeat what I said few weeks ago.
Nami would get an upgrade during or after the arc from vinsmoke tech.
I believe luffy will make big mom join him in alliance by herself or just her family.

Just a reminder that Luffy said Sanji is worth a thousand men. Germa 66 is about a thousand men.

I think that could happen since not all people from big mom faction are kitten. So an alliance between big mom group or big mom herself isn't that Imposible.

I think that could happen since not all people from big mom faction are kitten. So an alliance between big mom group or big mom herself isn't that Imposible.

 

Big mom's crew and family? Sure. Not positive about extra large lady herself though.

Well, anything is possible since we are not see her backstory.
But knowing oda, I don't think there would be any redeemable quality from her.

That's why I more inclined to say that her group will be the one who join her.
Having more force to join luffy will make him a big threat to world government.
