NS was always about working around Sasuke NOT Hinata who was barely on Naruto and Sakura's radar. This is the reason why NH relied so heavily on SS--Hinata fans were counting on Sasuke to take away Sakura so Naruto would end up with the scraps lol.

Someone posted a link, and naruto not even got in it.Part 2 early arcs had full of their interaction, what he means - Naruto never got to confess his emotions direclty to Sakura because he was seald by POAL due to plot. And it didn't lack of communication before Kage Summit arc - at all.
yes early part 2 had interations to build their relationship more, but that's also where their relationship should have been solidified because at that point it was obvious that sakura had feelings for naruto. there was absolutely no reason for her to continue having feelings for sasuke at that point, and it looked like that was the case too.
and that's the problem. naruto used sasuke to determine important things in his life to pursue, becoming hokage and confessing to sakura. can't become hokage unless sasuke is safe. can't confess to sakura unless sasuke is saved. it's kitten writing and gives more credit that naruto was just a plot device while sasuke was the main character.
and it did lack communication before the kage arc, it's why their relationship remained stagnant instead blossoming into the couple we all yearned for years.

Yup only 200, the post says it'll sell 200 each day until the 25th(wow 3 days!!) and that the picture was taken before it went on sell and sold out(you can pretty see how there's about 200 boxes in the picture)

Naruto couldn't become Hokage or confess to a girl until he saved this guy who wanted to kill him. A plot like that is bound to turn into garbage.
I've said it a million times, this story would have been SOOOO much better had Sasuke stayed a villain, and died at the end. Instead Sasuke gets everything and is presented as a true hero....
kitten you Kishimoto.

He will still work hard even without poal.True but he wouldn't of worked so hard.unless for poal and Sakura.
The poal has nothing to do with narusasu.
The poal has something to do with NS, well you can say it as add motivation.

Yes there was an entire fandom sect hoping for that ending. It's not even about disliking Sasuke--realistically he was a villain who needed to be stopped. He committed every deed needed to be a villain (joining the bad guys trying to kill the hero and heroine attacking the home village etc) and yet he was not a villain. Any other character would've been killed but Sasuke had a protection stamp on him. No matter what he did he would never be a villain even if his one life goal was to kill the main character and steal his dreams. It is terrible kittening writing.

Hmm I may've missed it then, I've been keeping up to date with the comics so I'll have to check back on it again. Speaking of the comics if anyone's been skeptical about paying their money here is the link to read them online:
The Promise (Takes place after the series finale of Avatar: The Last Airbender): http://www.mangahere...e_promise/c001/
The Search (Continuation of The Promise):

Well Frozen didn't need to shove their ideas onto people, it was a great movie that people loved because it actually made sense and had logic behind it
SP is trying so hard to make it seem like what they did was great, when in truth it isn't, so they try to shove it down people's throat.

i disagree. ns does lack communication. one of the reasons for this is because they had to rely on third party interpretations to push them forward.
naruto is one of the most emotional people in this story.
completely disagree. all the things you mentioned about his emotions being restrained, well he has expressed it for sasuke numerous times, and for other people as well. the only real expectations put on naruto was to rescue sasuke and having the hero complex he formed during the pein arc, which progressed further into the war. and that stuff about rejection making a man stronger, well that's from jiraiya's point of view, not naruto's. i mean, jiraiya actually told naruto that he should give up on chasing sasuke, so naruto isn't going to take jiraiya's words as some holy scripture.
no one took his feelings seriously? i disagree. he spoke about his feelings to sai, and sai could tell that naruto was hurting about the poal. naruto wasn't this lame emo who was hiding his emotions.
and there's a bit of a contradiction here. you say that ns doesn't lack communication, and then go on to say that he was never allowed to voice his frustrations about his feelings towards sakura. and what does that make naruto for falling for a girl that just ignores him? why didn't naruto stop having feelings for a girl as shallow as sakura? why did naruto waste his time on somone as shallow as sakura? unless naruto's feelings were shallow too? and he did get angry at obito and sasuke, but not for the reasons that we all expected him to be angry for. naruto sees the good in despicable people like obito.
agreed. but that's not really saying much to outdo kishi in portraying relationships. almost anyone can do that.
Communication between how they feel about each other, maybe, but in other aspects no. They knew each other better than they knew themselves at some points. They acted for each other, that's how they communicated.
Being emotional doesn't mean that you can express yourself the way you want to. The majority of the time, most of Naruto's real feelings were bottled up. He never really addressed how he felt until the time at the waterfall. You can be emotional but not show it.
Naruto was only allowed to show his feelings towards Sasuke, and later Obito. Every other time he got hindered. He couldn't say anything about Sakura. His feelings got forced down his throat after Jiraiya's death because of the expectations Jiraiya and Minato levied on him. The only people he was able to she extreme emotion towards were Sasuke and Obito, and a brief bit to and with Gaara. but that's it. He had no other meaningful emotional interactions with anyone else.
@bold, his feelings, and his understanding of them. got likened to ramen. That's how serious people took his feelings.
It's not really a contradiction as our views of communication were probably different. He knew her better than anyone else did, and her him. He wasn't allowed to voice his true feelings to her. This goes back to what I was saying about Jiraiya. I didn't mean that Naruto learned that from Jiraiya, rather Jiraiya's quote was a underlying theme for the manga, as shown in the spoiler below:
That's true, I guess I just use Oda because he's the one I'm most familiar with.
Stupid question. If I'm finally starting TG, do I start with TG not TG:RE, right?
Start with Tokyo Ghoul. RE is basically to Tokyo Ghoul what Shippuden is to Naruto, RE is the continuation of the original manga.

Blame Kage Summit Arc. Things take time but instead, Kishi decided to revive the love triangle when every databank said that's gone. Don't have to be all lovey dovey, just unleash it when the time come. But yeah...pretty much that arc ruined everything. Then, the last arc destroyed the series.yes early part 2 had interations to build their relationship more, but that's also where their relationship should have been solidified because at that point it was obvious that sakura had feelings for naruto. there was absolutely no reason for her to continue having feelings for sasuke at that point, and it looked like that was the case too.
