Oh, that, I was reffering to Hinata being "nice girl" and in fact all she did - was for her obsession. Can you clarify what you mean? Are you talking about Hinata's actions? I'm saying that it wouldn't shock me if people read Naruto and think "Gee, Naruto is such a nice guy and Sakura keeps rejecting him. She's a b*tch. He should go for Hinata cause she's nice with him." It's pretty much stuff people have already said here just viewed through a different lens.

They polished her and make her way cutier then she was, those scenes of her being in cage literally makes you to cheer for her. Because now she's almost as barbie or what is that "perfect" doll's name was.Lol, her new look just doesn't go we'll together with Naruto's to me. Of course, Pink and Yellow look perfect together, even on chocolate

Sex sells... Maybe Hinata though she could use her female features to get Naruto's attention.

With or without the poal, naruto will still save sasuke.
The poal has something to do with NS.
@luffy
I agree with terrorking.
After kage summit arc, there are no NS interaction.

Hinata and Naruto look ugly as kitten on that chocolate together. They just don't match to me at all.
It's lemon and honey-lemon. xD You gotta admit though cherry and chocolate (Sakura and Sasuke) would actually be delicious together. At least make Hinata blueberry and Naruto lemon then it'd be lemon-blueberry. Whoever picked the flavors don't know kitten.

I'm going way out on a vine here, but luffy's post made me think about this. Yeah, Naruto gets a lot of praise for putting Sakura's feelings first and wanting to see her happy and bring back Sasuke. But luffy is right; he should have smacked her down and told her how awful Sasuke was for her.
We criticize NH and SS a lot for the self-insert aspect of the pairings. Beta males who want to get a girl like Hinata and teenage girls who want Sasuke. But there's some room for self-insert in NS, too. That awful type of "nice guy" stuff you see. I see them in fanfic profiles all the time. "If you talk to her on the phone after her boyfriend dumps her." "If you let her cry on your shoulder." "If you pick her up drunk from a party." You guys know what I'm talking about.
That's the awful kinda "nice guy" that ends up shooting up a sorority because women won't sleep with him.
And all of this just confirms what we already know. Not only did Kishi's inability to portray romance destroy the story. Not only did it require a bunch of retcon and abandonment of important themes and narratives. But all the pairings reflect awful views on men, women, and the nature of relationships.
Well, like I said, you can't fault him for putting her feelings above his, but I also did acknowledge that he should have called her on it. But the primary bearer of that responsibility is Sakura herself, then Naruto.
but naruto is the guy who specializes in people's feelings, so why didn't he address the glaring problem for sakura's character? for example, if my mom starts dating some douchebag i'll tell her to do better. but if my mom starts dating a guy that attempts to put his hands on her, i'll be sending that guy to the emergency room. no way in hell i'm gonna stand by and watch the person i love get treated like kitten. if she's not smart enough to make the decisions on her own, then you do it for her. it shows how much you love the person.
that's another problem that i have with ns, there's no damn communication.
I think you're wrong on the last line, their communication was very strong.
The biggest problem is that Naruto was never allowed to express himself. He was never allowed to get angry, or sad, or anything because of the expectations put on him. It goes back to that line Jiraiya said to Tsunade before he died, that rejection makes a man stronger and how a man's only purpose was to be strong. Naruto was never allowed to voice his frustration about his feelings towards Sakura, because in the end, no one ever took his feelings seriously, not even Sakura herself. She tried to, but then reneged on that fairly easily when she looked straight at Naruto in 693 before flushing her character development down the kittenter, and then again when she ignored his existence.
That's one of my biggest criticisms of Naruto's character in general, outside the pairings even. Naruto was never able to express himself genuinely, to anyone. I wanted him so badly to get angry at Obito and Sasuke. I wanted him to get angry at the previous Hokage. One of the only times I felt that Naruto showed any real emotion was just after Jiraiya died, but then Iruka shows up and tells him he can't cry.
Another thing I felt that Oda did much better than Kishi when doing his male characters. Shanks' speech to Luffy after Ace's burial was one of my favorite quotes, as he states that it's ok for men to have emotions, which were stripped from the male cast most of the time (not all) in Naruto.

I agree with this, definitely. And I also agree with your post that we, as the readers, really should have been given an on-page conversation between the two. Naruto should have had a chance to confess his feelings, acknowledge the completion of the POAL, and lay things on the line. Kishi deprived us of that and it's a big problem.
Yeah. I wouldn't want Sakura to be like "Hey Naruto. So I don't really like you like that but I'm going to be your girlfriend now. After all you deserve it for always treating me right."
That's a big no no. I don't want Sakura to be guilt tripped into loving Naruto for such a shallow reason. I wanted her to naturally switch from Sasuke to Naruto on her own. That's what we saw all throughout the story. That Sakura was slowly falling for Naruto based on his own merits. It was all coming together nicely, until Kishi slapped us in the face with this "ending".
And I also agree with the rest of your post. It's really too bad, but in a twisted sense it actually works to our benefit by showing just how forced and OOC the ending and The Last really is.

They even changed her facial structure, like seriously :lmao:Yes.
So, Hinata's character was killed on war, and her looks being changed, I don't know is there fans of her, that really see this. But if Hinata got what she wanted - that's deffinetly not her original version of herself.

Yeah, it does sound good togetherness when I think about it. Still don't know why the heck their calling Sakura's flavor Cherry Blossom, when I didn't even think flowers have a taste. It's lemon and honey-lemon. xD You gotta admit though cherry and chocolate (Sakura and Sasuke) would actually be delicious together. This is an outstanding point and one I've not really considered before. I know I argued with someone on here a few weeks ago about the confession scene, and misquoted Sakura's comments, but I DO think it is possible to interpret her comment that "the fool's in love with me" that she doesn't take his love seriously. I'm not sure I'd necessarily agree, but I wouldn't rule out such an interpretation.
And yeah, I definitely would have liked to have seen Naruto get mad just once. Like when he's talking to Kakashi and Kakashi references Minato. Shouldn't Naruto get mad that Kakashi never talked to him about this? That he knew who his parents were? Naruto almost turns into a caricature.
