I hate NH/SS because they're the type of couples who can't exist without the other. Wtf?? Something's seriously wrong there. Actually SS existed before NH but NH cannot exist without SS. Naruhina literally needed another pairing's help to make it happen which is what makes it the lamest settling couple in all of anime.

It was just a lame ass excuse to make it seem like Naruto didn't give up on his first love, because he never really loved her, and thus Hinata wasn't his second choice.

I bet that scene pictured Sakura with light in eyes, so it looks like Sakura was waiting for Naruto to reject to such BS and say what she wanted to hear

also, naruto gets praised for putting sakura's feelings above his own, but i think i'm gonna have to call kitten on that. that selfless act isn't winning him any brownie points. naruto should have smacked some sense into sakura by telling her that sasuke is no good for her at all. forget playing the nice guy act, lives are at stake here. he doesn't have to necessarily tell her to be with him because he treats her like a human being. he should just say that there are so much better guys out there for her and leave it at that.

 

ns wasn't as realistic as i hoped it would be, so the chances of the two sitting down and having a conversation about their feelings were slim to none.

I don't really think that was closure though, to be honest, because it didn't resolve anything. It just opened up a new can of worms that made no sense. Not to mention it destroyed the main characters character, and it needed a movie to explain. That was the furthest from closure that you could get, lol

but in kishi's head, it was closure. though i don't agree with him on it.

That's the point, I agree on that with you, but Kishimoto didn't plan it all. Sakura was over Sasuke in Pains arc and Kage Summit, only memory of him was painful for her, there was nothing that indicated "love", but then we jumped back to "Sasuke-good-god-train-love-forcing" and Sakura's character got another nail under her skin.

Naruto at least could talk to her, well, Kishimoto didn't think so...

Well really Sasuke didn't show any romantic feelings for anybody, so..

I acknowledge Hinata's feelings, I just don't think it's kittening healthy and should never and I mean never go above the "MC" feelings

You mean do we care for someone who knowingly forced herself on Naruto at every possible opportunity, expressing vows of "love" to someone that she literally knew nothing about, to the exclusion of all else including her fresh dead cousin, her kidnapped sister, her teammates, and the feelings of the person she was "in love" with? Or do you mean the guy who was never in love with Sakura, and showed so at every opportunity?

We know their feelings, we just don't care anymore lol also, isn't it ironic that Hinata's singular goal in life was to gain acknowledgement from Naruto of her feelings, but didn't possess the capacity to do the same for him, even though she "loved" him?

i believe Sakura was asking Naruto not telling him and since he didn't say anything she ran with it, that he only loved her because of his rivalry with sasuke. Even though sai and a number of others would of told her that was false.Also she didn't have any reason to question it,since he kept trying to bring sasuke back even though she and the others accepted him as a criminal, and wanted to kill him to free Naruto for the POAL.
