I truly believe he meant that "Thank you". He was grateful to all she did for him(cried for him, comforted him etc), but wanted to end it there and then. Which worked, because 2 years later he is completely indifferent to her.

Actually , this was a real moment between them , even though her confession was genuine and all heart it was so selfish can measure it up to anything  . He denied her feelings though before she even said '' i love you with all my heart'' but she did it anyways, so yes he thanked her for crying ,caring , but that's it , nothing more.  He cared for her as family something like a mom (sis) not being biased here but that's what he thought in his flashback when he was confessing , he thought of both of NAruto and Sakura  not a moment they've  both shared ..

Even in during the Gaara fight he told Naruto that he must protect her , because he cant afford to lose the people aka his family who he cares for .

And about your earlier question, I do have a user on Narutoforums, Yovaile is my name. I barely use it, I probably have like 3 posts. I also have made a user on MF(Dead.), I'm thinking about getting active and use my arguments there to see what people come up with..one prob; I'm lazy.

The point is that Sasuke is made for a person who wants a family as a whole while Naruto is made for a person who wants a family with a different individual take such as one for brother, one for love, etc. Sasuke always put Team 7 and Taka as a whole while having one to stand out the most (Naruto and maybe Karin???). That's how his character is written. The soon to be translated chapter proves that even though Kishi shown likeness in Sasuke, he's highly focus on Naruto in everything. I mean a birthday after the war is just a way of having the ending a great moment for him.

Well, some guys say that even though they are straight they are all gay for an Uchiha .
But, yes that kind of relationship extremely one sided and believing you are in love , just because the guy is handsome ... Yep, not a good idea ..

I wouldn't recommended it , no matter how much facts and logic you dish out , everybody will ignore you or deny it. I've tried ,there's no point , but if you've got spare time , go for it ^^. Maybe some NS fans will show up my self included to act as cheer leader  ^^.

A NS moment is guaranteed when the war is over, but I have no idea when this fight is going to end. It has been going on for 30 chapters, and the Juubi is still not in its final stage.

 

However..the battlefield is getting more and more dangerous. Sakura has dodging skills and all, but she too has a limit. Obito still don't know who is Naruto's girl, and if 615 really was romantic he would've targeted Hinata by now.

 

I think we have 2 NS moment in near future;

Rin parallel, which yes will most likely be both a NS hint and a moment.

There were no indicators that that chapter was romantic , when i first read it i thought '' What the hell have i just read ''  , but then i saw what was the goal  of the chapter and that there was no atmosphere indicating that is romantic and Naruto remained oblivious to it .

Obito will target Sakura that's for sure ,and a certain big fanbase won't be happy about it , buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut that's none of our concern ^^.

I'm glad. I was getting tired of Bijuu bombs. Either way, my point is the same.

Think about the jutsu Pain used to destroy the village, now add way more chakra and a barrier that prevents anyone from escaping.

He's going to obliterate everyone.

It doesn't look like Obito will start using the Rinnegan, but it would be cool.

 

Katsuyu has shown to withstand it. Hashirama and Gaara has shielding skills too.

I believe he's saving some immense attack for later. He started shooting then his defense is very powerful, and his attacks are getting numerous and more powerful. Typical to have later a vast attack to deliver from what I think.
