Naruto did not love Hinata END OF STORY! I am sick of explaining to NH fans why I don't ship the pairing. "Because Naruto's in love with Sakura not Hinata." Is that not a good enough damn reason to explain?! My favorite Naruto ship is NaruSaku because Sakura is the girl he loves--when did liking NS become such a kittening crime in fandom? Ugh. >.>

That's simple. The Naruto fandom is divided... and it was divided officially by Kishimoto. Which is why we don't support him or his work anymore, we defend our kingdom and build things on our own here.

To be honest  except 615  NH wasn't really pushed  and SS wasn't even there  in fact it was even more destructive then ever  and if we count every moment since War Arc  NS still had more meaningful scenes  then NH/SS combined and it was more from Sakura's side then Naruto's . It was all leading to NS until  675 this is where I think he changed his pace  when Kishimoto start making Sakura look pathetic  but even then he was still adding more NS sign .But  no matter how we slice it its all just BS  and one Retcon after another . 

I know what you mean and many of you mean and I don't disagree, however matching some facts and events from the past, Kishi's old interview and authorial intent, bla bla, compared to these days sounds totally different and this rupture and sudden change we suffer now, I believe, honestly, that it happened around that time... Enough time for SP or SJ or whoever to push for more NH/SS because duuh and this way even though it's not necessarily positive development and at its core it shows bigger problems, on the surface the kokoros and wallets of the NH/SS fandoms were probably starting to raise... if you know what I mean.

In the end I mean no disrespect to kittening no one. Ship whatever the kitten you want and kittening enjoy whatever you want, but on the bigger scale of things, at least admit that what's kitten is kitten, don't try to justify it.

And that's a problem with the NH/SS fandoms and the rest. They justify everything for the lack of a strong substance while us, the rest, besides our preferences look for the more in-depth content Naruto once had, its themes and yadda yadda. And accountability was also one of Kishi's problems in this story which yeah, pulled at the strings of your heart but when it came down to the rough judgement, many problems arise.

He brushed those away so much and got so tired probably because maybe he wanted to tell a story but his story doesn't pay up because Otaku culture and thus... "I don't care about it anymore", abandoned and brushed away plots and important themes, satisfies the otaku culture by shielding kitten up with false excuses that only makes him look worse and does this... The Last!

I really believe that's what happened because there's no other logical explanation to kitten a story this big in such a big kittening way!

Even if Naruto only had a "crush" on Sakura like NHrards say it's still more than what he feels for Hinata. He jokingly told his dead father that Sakura was his girlfriend right in front of Hinata who's cousin just died. He feels nothing for Hinata except strong friendship and sympathy.
Crush > nonexistent feelings. Hinata may love Naruto but Naruto didn't love her. NH fans should at least admit this.

No what Sakura felt towards Sasuke when she was 6, because he was "super cool" is a crush. Any creator with the emotional level beyond that of a preschooler knows that.... except for Kishimoto of course.

 

Honestly it's amazing just how much how fans felt about certain fans really affected the way this story was told.

That's why naruto confession need to happen if NS want to become canon.
After all, sakura is the decider of the love triangle.

Yeah. The fact that Naruto didn't get to confess is one of the many reasons why I can't take this ending seriously. The hero of the story, who has been in love with the same girl for years and have constantly held himself back from confessing because he didn't feel worthy and what happens in the end? Nothing. He just gives up. At least have him confess and then get rejected. It would suck, but at least it wouldn't feel so anticlimatic.

 

But no, we can't have that can't we? We need to pretend like NS never existed, because otherwise it might steal the spotlight from the glory of NH and SS.

 

Why would you spend 15 years having Naruto and Sakura get closer only to then tear them apart? Doesn't make sense to me, but then again Naruto and logic is like oil and water. It doesn't mix. At all.

I don't know how strong of a friendship he feels for her. His entire feelings directed towards her seem to start with "I failed to save her cousin". NH canon wise now starts with Naruto feeling guilty about not being able to save Neji, and Hinata used that guilt in order to manipulate Naruto because that's all her character is ever about.

 

Kiba gets taken away on a stretcher, Hinata is worrying about how Naruto will react to her gift of massage cream.

Neji was just killed in battle, Hinata thinks about how big Naruto's hand is.

Hinata's sister is kidnapped, Hinata is worried about the scarf she is making, and the fact that other girls want to have sex with Naruto as well now.

 

Her entire character revolves around her wanting Naruto. He drives and the way she manipulates every situation she is shown in, begin and end with her finding out how she can use the situation so she can get Naruto.

 

Hell she's called a Pokemon cause the vast majority of her lines is "Naruto-Kun".

I say "strong friendship" because Naruto did go Kyuubi for Hinata. Though he would've done it for any of the other K11 and who knows maybe he was thinking of Neji during that moment lol.
