what hope can i have from a guy who basicaly gave ns his middle finger  in the manga,not giving it any closure,little to none interaction in 699-700 and making sakura ignore naruto?thats insult at highest levels..im just being realistic here thats all...sp isnt gonna take ns side either...i thought it was clear from all the spoilers..you have to be blind not to see it

What ending , What movie ? Naruto ended in 698  I don't know this 699/700 and "The Last - Hinata & her Nardo Kun Clock the Movie" pft  .

 

I don't accept that "ending"  never will  it doesn't exist  , that does not make me or people delusional  of what happened  you do understand that  right ?  And people do see it but bc its so kittened up and doesn't literary make any sens they choose to have a bit of hope  that also doesn't  make them delusional  they have already accepted what happened   and nothing can hurt them anymore just laugh at the end  , this was cleared up so many times  so no need to bring this issue over and over again  its getting boring  lol .

Exactly. By all all means I know that this whole ending is bullsh*t and illogical but that doesn't stop it from being canon.
I'm still open to theories but we should still remain realistic about the chances to keep from being disappointed.

Hey, Bulma was almost sexually attacked by two soldiers back in the early days of Dragonball. If Kishi's admiration for Toriyama pervades his writing to the extent that he's adopting some of his character thematic traits and plot scenarios then an attractive female being threatened by some lecherous minions of Toneri's faction isn't out of the question. The romantic underpinnings of this movie with Toneri obsessing over Hinata and attempting to force an heir out of her arguably makes a scenario like this one with Ino easier to get away with.  

 

It still doesn't account for Sai's inexplicit attraction for Ino or why he would choose to marry her. I don't see how a traumatic experience like this one would inspire him to develop feelings for her. From Ino's perspective it's understandable because she's fostered superficial and misguided cravings for her imitation of Sasuke since early Shippuden. In a moment of vulnerability when she's afraid for her life and Sai comes galloping out of nowhere to save her as her shining knight then she would hold greater incentive to be interested in him - that I can understand. 

 

The flaw in this potential romance is that Sai has never expressed any sexual or romantic attractions for anyone period. He had an indecent sense of humour, but we could attribute that to his lack of social skills. Remember his lack of reaction when Konohamaru transformed into two sexualised women? Indifference. In fact, he provided more acknowledgement for the man and man erotic transformation.

 

Like much of the epilogue's set-up and characters in general, this pair-up between Sai and Ino was awkward and appeared almost literally out of nothing. I believe Kishi just sat down one day, contemplating how best to ensure that the InoShikaCho dynamic remains unbroken by marrying them off to random characters so that a potential romance couldn't blossom between any of the three. Yet another halfwitted decision made by the author.

Accepting the manga ending released by Kishimoto DOESN'T mean accepting NH/SS or that the epilogue made sense!!
It means accepting reality that NS lost and to not place false hope in a creator/studio who doesn't give a kitten about the pairing.
I'd rather be brave enough to accept that this bullsh*t ending is canon and move on than to delude myself that NS still has a chance of happening when Kishimoto said himself that he already decided on Hinata for Naruto.
I am still a 100% NS shipper so please don't imply to us that accepting that NH/SS are canon means we aren't.
You have to accept something in order for healing to begin. Not saying that NS doesn't have a chance anymore in canon...only that the chance is about 0.00001% when you look at the evidence.

God, something like rape in Naruto is just...

The fact that SaiIno came from Ino being attracted to Sai because he looked like a copy of Sasuke makes me not even take the pair seriously. I need something big to happen between them for me to actually believe they have some type of an actual romance.

And I actually think you're right about the whole InoShikaChou thing. I've seen stuff on Tumblr that's basically been saying the same things. But the thing with that is what's stopping the children from learning techniques from their other parental figures?

I'm not going to lie, YES it all seems weird...but the ending seemed weird. Sakura looks like Karin, her kid looks like Karin and we all know the logistics of the end couples makes no sense since Naruto was always ---> Sakura and Sakura was Naruto<----->Sasuke with it being stilted towards the heavy negatives in regards to him.

But I don't know why they would do this. Its just odd. 

Let's assume the movie is the explanation of 700 and NS is indeed the endgame then one needs to see the movie to make sense of the ending or read part 3. What a great strategy to make money, eh?

My point is, it wouldn't make sense to make the conclusion of the story a red herring. The movie is just a padding between 699 and 700 and gen3 is a miniseries spin-off drawn by an assistant, both connected to original story and are semi-canon but they don't count as a conclusion of the original story. 699 and 700 were indeed the finale of Naruto.

 

But oh well, anything could happen. I don't care anymore about this sh*tty story either way.

I think kishi statement that sakura would be terrible with a laugh and people saying naruto not in love with sakura.

That is straight bs. POAL was done out of love.

What is the point to the story? A hero that never gives up until he achieves his dreams. Hokage, sakura, and sasuke was his dreams.

It just doesn't make sense.

That was apparently when she began to really see him as a potential romantic for her. But we have an insight into Sai's psyche. What he was expressing during that conversation was the mirror opposite of his true sentiments regarding her looks. There was nothing to imply that his perspective of her ever changed.

 

Moreover, for Ino to construct this lovestruck fantasy over Sai (to the degree which it has become her most heartfelt desire, as seen in the Infinite Tsukuyomi) over such petty reasons makes her seem even more vain than Sakura. She still harbours the same "feelings" for Sasuke. We can clearly see that in several different instances where her emotional framework is at the forefront of the manga. The only difference now is that she's projecting her lustful desires onto another boy who resembles Sasuke because she couldn't win over the real thing.

Exactly which I never understood. Ino & Sasuke have hardly had anything to do with each other, so I don't see why she would hold onto her feelings for him. I guess she suffers from Sasuke syndrome too
