It was never about sexism. It was always about giving justice they deserve, to the female characters. People are mad because the main characters do kitten and get away with it whereas....female characters are potrayed as something essentially weak when they are written and shown to have potentials far beyond the work they do!

Talking about this series, no one except 2 characters have justice. All either was striped from their purpose or was destroyed on their way to get it.

I've had my own little fights with NHtards and Narutofanboys today. Youtube has become an inhospitable place for the anime community if you ask me.

Yeah,i usually engage in a battle but this is a topic that doesn't deserve it.Not only that there is no sense talking to these people,only people who can understand and accept a common fact can do that,this is blind tards ready with their NH BS and refuse to see a single thing.Also i'm tired of this.

Talking about this series, no one except 2 characters have justice. All either was striped from their purpose or was destroyed on their way to get it.

Now you get everyone's point! Its just that...women were in forefront when it came to 'not giving justice' and hence the sexist stuff. Its not about women only....just that their portrayal was wrong on such a wrong scale that somethings like you said about Jiraiya and all got over shadowed...

But those movies are old. We'd need at least 1.21 gigawatts to go back that far

You know I was having a conversation with Ria about Naruto and the whole sexism aspect to the series over the past weekend. That's when she asked me an interesting question.  

 

Well in Part 1 you don't feel that way, I feel like you can really see it in Part 2, I mean Kurnei is a perfect example and also Kushina too. Do you feel like Part 2 is where Kishi showed sexism to the female characters? or do you feel like it's been there since the beginning?

Nice! So that means Jiraiya is ok, because he overshadowed. Never once I ever read how Madara or Orochimaru was pictured bad, that must be mean that men's are totally ok too be evil. That's some of this "woman's can't be pictured like that" is just too ridiculous.

Yeah, I normally say "Have a nice day" when I realize that I have an irrational NH fan or Naruto fanboy in front of me.

Just one glance under the comment section from anime reviewers makes my blood boil: People making stupid claims w/out validating them, cursing everywhere, illogical comparisons b/w the mangas and animes... It's horrible.

i wonder what the extra pages/chapters will include. maybe some ss since it has been taking a backseat to nh  .

 

I heard rumors that they will show how ss happened such as showing them kiss.....oh the damage control.   

 

I saw another new interview from kishi one of the manga authors drew tsunade,jiraiya naruto and sakura i find that very awkward.

so karin drooling over sasuke after he attempted to kill her was for the purpose of sk? there are much better ways of handling sk than this. it's downright appalling.

i do. what happened to sasuke was tragic, but that doesn't give him the right to share his tragic experience on innocent people.

I'm against sexist kitten, but that's not mean every women is princess, because the way many acts - they not.

did i say every women should be portrayed as a princess? no. what i will say is that every women should be consistently portrayed as having some damn respect in this series.

Yeah no offense but Naruto Sasuke and Sakura are THEE most stereotypical characters I've ever seen in a story.
Naruto: perverted loser who's also the nice guy of the group and is a kittening idiot. Likes a girl who friendzoned him for bad boy.
Sasuke: handsome popular jerk who's a total A-hole to everyone and plays the bad boy. Hated by the hero.
Sakura: selfish naive girl who's liked by the hero but ignores him for the bad boy who hates her. shallow and often plays damsel in distress.
They never really develop. Even at the end they sorta fall back to these same 1 dimensional characters.
