How bout the fact that she even "loves" Sasuke. Can someone show me a panel where that happened at all? Anybody?      

Maybe Sakura's novel will show some reason for loving him besides his looks

yes really. like azurewaters said, she started worrying about his opinion of her in the beginning of the fight. but i can make an argument that it goes even further back than that. like i said, the romance in this story has been kitten for years. 

540 was a huge warning sign. I thought that it meant that she was starting to get over him but Booooooyyyyyy  was I wrong

Well, Kishimoto killed Naruto and Sakura, striped Kakashi from any role in future. kittented at NS bonds.I have no reason for following part 3 of his kitten.

That was her hope for him. I seriously can't consider those panels before 699 as "love" of someone. Hell even Karins last wish was picture of "love" more then Sakura's crush thing ever was. But you have your own opinion ot that.

She wasn't angry, she was crying, yet again. Like I said in my edit, Sasuke could have killed Naruto and she would have said the same things.
Well, if you look at it, they didn't have a decent replacement for Westbrook. Honestly, I think that if you switch Wall with Westbrook, you get almost the same output, except Wall is a little more well rounded in terms of everything else outside of scoring.

you can't replace westbrook's athleticism and his aggression. wall's good, but he ain't better than westbrook, no matter how much criticism he receives about his game.

Yeah, we should have known something was gonna happen when Naruto and Sasuke helped Sakura take down the Juubi pieces and she was fawning over SASUKE-KUUUUHN only for Naruto to look at her and say, "Uh, I helped too, you know."

 

And yeah, I'm not buying the argument that she was mad at Sasuke. He threatened to kill her teammate and teacher and she just cried and told him she loved him. God, Kishi made her pathetic.

Has a heroine been screwed over by an author more than Sakura?

you can't replace westbrook's athleticism and his aggression. wall's good, but he ain't better than westbrook, no matter how much criticism he receives about his game.

I don't think Wall is better by any stretch, however, Wall doesn't take as many shots as Rus. He'd pass more to Durant, which would solve the problem about Durant's insane efficiency. What you'd lose in Westbrooks scoring, Wall would give you more in terms of passing and defense (I think wall is slightly better defensively, but that just me). I think they rebound the same though.

Anyways, with wall, I think we'd see the ball more in Durant's hands, which is always a plus.

Those were definitely signs that Kishi was gearing up to write that ending in 699 though. I don't think it matters to Kishi if her feelings looked bad. Or maybe he just  thought they didn't for some unknown reason. In either case I saw signs of  him going this route since the beginning of the fight. By that time I came to understand that the negativity in the pairing hadn't stopped Kishi from messing around with it, and indeed things like the genjutsu, and Sasuke insulting her, didn't stop the author from making it canon. Somehow he doesn't seem to mind if the drama gets to the point of looking unhealthy. Anything goes in regards to Sasuke.

Yeah, I saw it. It's not necessarily assists that concern me though, as they don't tell the whole story, it's more of spreading the ball around the floor. The process of song so isn't Westbrooks strong suit, as often the ball stops in his hand.
