What sucked really hard in the end - Kishimoto's attemps of neglecting NS pairing/moments/bonds that it's could be seen as WTF? chapters, there wasn't even chapter when Naruto and Sakura was not bothered by something and didn't interact at all. Whole part 2 was about how both of them grew up. And what now? They don't even interact.

 

Naruto, main character got 1 line in chapter 699. It's his goddamn story, his ending. His story wasn't resolved at all. Frog Sage wasn't even mentioned with his prophecy about child. Naruto's POAL to himself/Sakura - didn't get resolved even in one panel. Sakura, his kittening LOVEINTREST that was there whole time, what manga did you read ever when MC and his loveintrest not only don't have resolve of any kind in the end, they don't even interact in any way with each other! It's not even close to be resolved. He didn't confess, nor he got rejection by Sakura, literally nothing, because again... THEY DON'T EVEN INTERACT IN LAST CHAPTER! And whole story of Naruto didn't get any closer from his POV, great. Oh... and did Naruto became hokage? Did we saw how all his friends cheer for him? How he smiles when get a Hokage hat on his head? NO, because in whole story NARUTO didn't even succed in his 1st and main goal, kittening epic win of manga! He got his main goal handed to him 5+ years after manga ends, offscreen. Bra-kittening-vo!

 

Sakura, main heroine of story, get demolished, with sudden attack of amnesia, that line "sorry for what?", like okay... You loved him, he proclaimed that he would kill your teacher, he literally killed you several hours ago in genjustu, before that, he didn't even tried to save you from dying, didn't care about your wellbeing, and being totall a**hole for 2 past years. Like - let's forget that, how about your friend right here, that lying half-dead without hand, who tried to stop Sasuke. Remember him? That's Naruto, the only person that supported you every time, and that person just tried to kill him and now you saying "sorry for what?". And second part of her when she turned 12 years old herself from chapter 3, and all her development from the start (including feelings for Naruto, goes out in the window) don't even worth of mentioning it.

 

Sasuke, who's main role was to be RIVAL of main hero, what is his ending? It's one of the best endings any villian/bad guy can ever have. After previous chapter of with his revelation, now amost whole chatper of his POV. In the end, he forgot that Konoha killed all his relatives, and didn't even mention something about honoring Itachi's sacrifice for piece. For all he done so faw, he only apologise to Sakura, and as it looks like - for nothing in particular.Then he suffer no punishment for his deeds at all and even knowing about Naruto's feelings for Sakura, Sasuke gives her some hope with he's poke to her forehead and he lives village to become vagabond, forgeting that 5 chapters ago he wanted to change the world and unite all people. And yet again he neglecting team that he gathered himself again. What has been changed in Sasuke since he went out of village in part 1? His motive for living those few who cared for him? Well, at least last chapter of NARUTO was about SASUKE.

 

So much for "conclusive" ending and characters OOCness development 

I agree with most of this except for the small part concerning Sakura. I think the "sorry for what" was her being upset with Sasuke and wanting him to explain himself. Kind of like how you're angry with someone and then remain stubborn up to a point. Though I have to say that act didn't last long because she forgave him on the next page easily enough.

There is no way that her use of that phrase was her being upset. Absolutely zero. She was saying that to relieve him of accountability, at the expense of all of her self respect.

I could say that she must be angry enough to kill him right there for what he did to Naruto only, not because what he did to her, but she now has Salad, and doesn't give a 2 kittens about Naruto when Sasuke around her, so I would be totally wrong.

Doesn't matter the end result was her being a pathetic fangirl and going back to her early part 1 self. Everything in between REALLY didn't matter.

Truth be told: I got the ideas from that and FMA. One for making a huge sacrifice to end the war like everybody just keep dying but no other options to go with. Instead, I got heave-ho. FMA, the idea is to have Hokages and Team 7 to fight Kaguya after learning for once about her. Hokages will die (again) but make the battle more meaningful and yes, Team 7 do more work instead of Kakashi getting the best asspull of all time and Sakura got one in the final strike.

 

But yes, the war was so underwhelming that I can't believe Bleach did better. The series that got popularity decreased a lot because of those circumstances and here I am, supporting Naruto like it was a masterpiece. Not that I truly thought of that, but honorable mention would have been ok. Instead, I just got a series that one day in my own story, I will joke around it more so than Deadpool breaking the fourth wall.

 

When it came to Kaguya, I thought it was gonna go on some Legend of Korra Book 2 Spirits:  The Beginnings type of kitten. where you have her motivation and how she came to be as this evil kitten if that's the right word I wanna use here. I mean I also should've caught on when we didn't get a flashback of her doing what she did. I mean it could've been like Volume 65 where like 5-7 chapters are flashback to Kaguya and then end result the fight ends where Team 7 did what they did in chapter 688-690. 

 

Funny you mention that cause I remember I finished The FullBring Arc and I said "Okay it's not downright terrible, It just could've been alot better" and it's funny how I think that the worst arc in Bleach is better than The War Arc in Naruto. 

 

Now to my point after FullBring I was like okay so we're getting to the final arc in Bleach let's see if we can get that Soul Society status quality of Bleach like it had and you know what We got that and we still are getting that quality (mostly).

Honestly, I think he'd be better off without Westbrook. Westbrook consistently takes the ball out of Durant's hands in exchange for terrible shots of his own. As a shooter, Kevin Durant is much more efficient. He can produce the same scoring output with much less attempted shots, so if he had the ball more, he'd produce better numbers. The problem is Westbrook doesnt share enough. I think wall isoghtlynbetter in that regard.

 

It's not all on Westbrook. Brooks needs to do a better job actually coaching the team to run an offense. And for such a talented guy, Durant needs to be more aggressive demanding the ball.

She wasn't angry at all. She told him to shut up so she could concentrate. She didn't want to hear an apology, because in her pathetic mind, he didn't do any thing wrong. He could have killed Naruto, and she would have said the same thing.

She was angry at Sasuke at first. You can tell from her face on the page. True, both Brooks and Durant have to improve in the areas you mentioned, but it is kinda hard to do so when Westbrook refuses to acknowledge Durant at times, instead electing to play hero ball. There has been times when Westbrook has been doubled and tripled, Durant has been left open, yet he has elected to throw up a prayer.

I saw it coming at the beginning of the fight when she started worrying about why Sasuke didn't care for her. That was the first clue

Well, if you look at it, they didn't have a decent replacement for Westbrook. Honestly, I think that if you switch Wall with Westbrook, you get almost the same output, except Wall is a little more well rounded in terms of everything else outside of scoring.

yes really. like azurewaters said, she started worrying about his opinion of her in the beginning of the fight. but i can make an argument that it goes even further back than that. like i said, the romance in this story has been kitten for years.
