Why is Gaara single? Didn't that one girl like him?

Why is Gaara single? Didn't that one girl like him?

I'd prefer Gaara didn't get paired up since EVERYONE ELSE has already, but it looks like they want to "rectify" that in the novel about him. It's such a shame.

Honestly though the only characters that had tolerable endings in chapter 700 for me were Gaara, Shikamaru, and Lee everyone else got trashed.

Not Lee, you surely can say that Lee got "tolerable" ending, but he literally got nothing. It's not even mentioned is it his son or he is forever alone and same as TenTen. You can say he is like Taka in terms of treatment, just with one panel for him.

Like what? Him not getting treatment as character (as 90% of characters in the end, who'm not Sasuke or Hinata) is not "ruined" just because he was almost forgoten and got a role of Hinata in canon story, in terms of story-relevance, maybe same as Shino too got that role.

Just killing time here before Microsoft conference begins.

What were your reactions when you first hear Naruto was ending in 5 weeks?

 

I got pretty emotional and thought wow "After all these years Naruto's coming to an end." and then I was like "Wait a second The Naruto VS Sasuke Fight just started I'm not liking the direction this series is gonna take for the future."

I'm not saying the ending he got was perfect, but at least he was acting in character for the one panel he got. You could say that he should have gotten more panel time, but with the way the other characters were handled I bet they would just find ways to make him look worse. That's how I see it anyway.

I don't see those novels as canon stuff since it's just there to be...there. But still, Gaara being that is so SP that it's not worth it. Give me Fall of Reach anyday.

It's so pathetic turning a series that was action based into a pairing extravaganza. Because that's what 700 and anything after it is. And it's not even done right it's just putting characters together for no reason and no explanation.

In Kakashi's sequel novel we'll get a story of love. Hinata got one. Gaara got one. Why not Kakashi? :zaru:

Have to read how a NaruHina fan is trying to lecture me that Kishi was only joking when that dude said he felt pity for Hinata.

Now if you excuse me, I'm gonna watch the newest episode of Parasyte- The Maxim to cool down. Don't like that main character's girlfriend, but at least they have enough development already after only 14 episodes.
