Can someone tell what this specific quote from Yamato to Sakura was again?

Are you talking about the bridge scene? If so:
"It's not what you do for Naruto that's important. It's how strongly you feel about him that counts... Hmph. Sakura, I can tell just by looking at you. The truth is you---"
Anyway, I just can't keep up with this thread. Every time someone posts something and I have something to add to it someone else already voices my opinion.
The general gist of the last 30 pages I hadn't read before today is that people feel the movie might be about Hinata getting resolution. I'm in the camp with those who don't agree with this. That would make Kishi a push over as a writer.
That being said I've never felt like Kishi was a very strong writer. He's had his moments were 2+2 =4 (putting the right pieces in place for the dramatic to work effectively) but he just is extremely inconsistent.
As far as the post between the student and their legit professor (no sarcasm), I agree with everything they say, but keep in mind that Kishi isn't a seasoned writer. He may very well make the mistakes that the professor talk about or may be aware of the "conventions and logics" of writing but want to go against it. Keep in mind he once stated he wanted to be Shikamaru but felt more like Naruto, noting that Sasuke is the cool guy. So the ending is dependent on what type of writer he will be. One who is unable to escape what he feels the truths of his life were (that the uncool guy doesn't get that girl) or one who follows through with what he has put on paper. And while it is a stereotype of females in Japan, girls like Hinata do have guys who like that type, maybe Kishi likes that type and so wishes that for his character too. And while writing can be more than realistic, in the real world, one does not always get what they want or have worked for. Some people do work all their lives for their dreams and never amount to much success. -- With this being a manga, maybe he'll continue with the themes of hard work = success, but when you think about it no one has worked especially hard for love or on a base level, a romantic relationship. Honestly no one's main goal has been this more than Hinata. So while someone may think of some one a lot and have done somethings they would already have done themselves partially for their sake (save Sasuke "for" Sakura) that does not really count as working hard for someone or to be with them. Edit: as it stands though Naruto's actions are the only ones that really count as "for the one you love" I'm just saying by realistic standards they don't award as many points that count for "doing something to be with someone.
Listen I'll be the first to admit, while I'd shout for joy if Naruto and Sakura decide to share their lives together, I wouldn't be surprised or honestly all that upset if Hinata and Naruto wind up together. I wouldn't be as happy because I've had less time to really root for them. I interpret those NaruHina moments as romantic. One sided yes, but opens enough of a possibility that Naruto realizes this later. It's just my opinion and you're free to have your own. The only thing that would make me upset is SasuSaku just because it's terrifying, honestly, that an abusive relationship would wind up canon.
