Because she is Hyuga, and her character retconed too. She's now player, not a hardcore worked that goes after Neji's steps.

Others in here said he was. Also the manga had Konohamaru x Moegi moments. They were basically like shintemar
Because reasons. There's no real answer.

Honestly though the only characters that had tolerable endings in chapter 700 for me were Gaara, Shikamaru, and Lee everyone else got trashed.
