speaking of parallels this isn't the first time MinaKushi parallels were made in a Naruto movie.


That would be Naruto and Ryuuzetsu.


That would be Minato and Kushina.







PS. I have no freaken idea how Naruto survived that either.

Oh wow. I didn't see the movie, but I will very soon.

That said well here's the reason why this movie is more of a real deal when it comes to parallel. The movie has Naruto's parents and the theme is about parental love. By the beginning of 3rd act, Naruto flashbacks the whole tragedy of Kyuubi and after that, he decides to rescue Sakura and wears the 4th Hokage, the same way Minato did in the flashback. Naruto drops the line, "It's up to him to surpass the old generation." Commence full throttle of parallels. Sakura is chained by Menma, who is also with Tobi who done it to Kushina. They are in a sacred place with a river for a floor. Naruto comes to rescue as a hero. He saves her like the way Minato did. Naruto place Sakura to safety like Minato did for Kushina. Kyuubi is summoned to destroy. Naruto did the replica version of Minato's Hirashin (forgot the name) v.2 to Tobi, which he react saying, "I haven't got hit by this move for 16 years!" It is a new generation of the old generation's event, only Naruto and Sakura survive to see another day. Did I mention this movie is made by Kishi? Because he already did a parallel in the manga, now he did the event in the movie.

That's why this movie create a stir. There are fans that clearly saw the event as a new generation of MinaKushi. Movie 5, while I didn't see it, well whether the same or not, it's no where near to this movie. Also, it's not made by Kishi. It could be a plot ploy in Movie 5, but I got to see it.

The whole plot, why he didnt draw sasuke's parents at the first place, kushina teasing naurto about sakura, the ending, that scene when they "meet" on the fence, the mission of the scroll and so on.

While an interesting find, I'm pretty sure the similar scene in movie five is just a coincidence, as its the only thing similar to MinaKushi, and there was no MinaKushi flashbacks or the like whereas there's too much blatant similarity in this new movie, made by Kishi himself, to try and deny that the man was trying to draw parallels imo.

I can only hope that the awesomeness of the final battle in the movie plays itself out similarly to an upcoming battle in the manga (namely, Sakura playing a large role and getting to save Naruto). <3

I see. Wow, they must be really great scenes that really give people second thought on the pairing. I'm liking this. Oh wait, I already love it.

@dovahkiin: One last question, then I won't bother you again. I know it was exhausted to talk about the movie. Because there are people that are wondering, I would like to ask how did Naruto saves Sakura from the chain. No need to explain like the whole fight. Explain like 30 seconds before leading to the rescue part happened.

Oh I understand. I'm just stating my thoughts. I have nothing against anyone. But thanks for pointing that out. Like I said, this movie is pretty important to understand Kishi's intention.

Movie 5, while I didn't see it, well whether the same or not, it's no where near to this movie. Also, it's not made by Kishi. It could be a plot ploy in Movie 5, but I got to see it.

The writers at Studio Perriot do have a habit of copying Kishimoto's story arcs and just replacing people with their filler characters. I can understand that it may be difficult for them to come up with original ideas for the anime every week, but for the movies too? It really shows just how lazy they are.

Don't worry. If they recap or really hardcore fan of Naruto, they would know that the pairing on its own is a serious couple, not a crack or anything sibling level. Let's not forget those comments in the blog. They acknowledged Naruto falling for Sakura as part of the plot, so there you have it. In here, I'm pretty sure we're not basing this pairing solely on parallel. We just surprised that Kishi actually did a parallel in a movie. To me, parallel is almost locking in as a pairing endgame. It's interesting to note that the whole scene was made to be as, "New generation surpass the old." Even Naruto himself said it, so it geared people up to see the connection and how Naruto would make it right. Yes, we should wait for the manga, but in the meantime, take this as a appreciation. Besides, Sakura is a captured princess in this one. Took them long enough to make Sakura a princess role.

Yeah, that's it. Strangely enough, if Naruto wasn't in bad mood, perhaps the whole scene could have gone so much differently. Sakura got upset when Naruto didn't help her like he always do. Good thing it was in the beginning. It goes to show you how they can repair their past mistakes. Imagine this for the ending. That would be harmful.

You know Naruto is in a bad mood when Sakura's comment about Sasuke ticked him. It's like her trust in him got hurt because of the comment. Karma...

The only one is the be beginning with Akatsuki battles. Everything else gets edited and never show us the whole scene.

From what I heard, it was. It has that tone that screams romance, but Naruto didn't approve Sakura's complaints. So, you can say that if they weren't in a bad mood, it will definitely feel romance whether they make a move or not. Perhaps that's why Kiba insists that they were dating since they came from the park.

You could ask dovahkiin. I think I got it done nicely.

I tried to record it with a spy pencil but 10 years in jail is too much, does not worth the risk it takes and plus the fact that they have some kind of sensor in some movie theaters.

10 years in prison is absolutely ridiculous for that. I think there are forms of manslaughter which get you less.

The first part no because she was already hot headed cuz of the stuff that happened and it was predictable that she would say any bs if naruto says something that she's wrong with her parents.
the comment she made was meant to hurt him even if she did not wanted.
