Pretty amazing that Sakura didn't go out with a bang but a huge whimper. You would think she would stop at punching Kaguya, but instead, we have to end with her being absolute trainwreck. I have never seen a heroine go out with a drastic downfall than her and it made me sick.

heroines typically don't get treated this way, so is it even fair to call her a heroine if she's not going to be handled as one? i don't know what kind of f**cked up upbringing kishi had, but it's definitely not something you need to illustrate to your audience.

Which is why she is always hated because she's supposed to be the heroine of the story, yet all Kishi can think of short term planning as well as just love for female characters, because that's what all of them think right? I feel like the old editor was planning expand them, but after he left, the newer characters also thought of love in any ways, making the norm of a female character. That's why the sexist view was exposed greatly.

That was pretty much my initial one. I thought that it came more or less from out of nowhere, like "oh, by the way. That series you've been following for a few years? Yeah, finishes in a few weeks. Figured I'd let you know". Seemed very sudden. Afterwards, I got the usual nostalgia rush, recalling everything that I had read, watched, played, hoping that the conclusion was going to be satisfying...*sigh*

Lol. I recalled that you wanted the manga to end so bad ever since I got here. Turns out you were right. You can say the one who defended it lost.

I know that feeling. I just remember saying "Oh god no." Not just because well a long-running series is ending, but the fact it has way many opened story to fill. Then when it ended, yeah, I dismissed the first feeling of saying goodbye. Nostalgia won't effect my feelings overall, like people today.

Honestly I was happy when I heard that Naruto was going to end.

 

Sure, if I had known that it would have a such final, I wanted another 500 chapters just to have the satisfaction of seeing NH fans in an eternal waiting that would have gradually consumed them.
