It's so weird that the POAL was brought up 6 chapters before the end, yet it wasn't addressed at all, even if it didn't lead to anything romantic. No NS interaction at all, even as friends. This movie might actually have everything that we were hoping for in 699 regarding the POAL and NS becoming a couple.       I don't think she could have said that it's romantic love, they're best friends first afterall. "Love is friendship set on fire", right?

 

 Maybe Kishi decided that there wasn't enough time for him to conclude all the love plots in this series, so the movie will serve as that. 

Everything was disregarded The movie is not an excuse for 699 I just can accept that  for NS to gain resolution in the its sh**ting on everything NS was  at this point its just sugarcoating everything . How is 699 should justify NS being ignored and Sakura fangirling if its not an IT ? 699 is the biggest problem imo   . 

 

True NS was "Love is friendship set on fire" but we should be over the friendship part and on to the romantic love not claiming that its just a Nakama thing  I really see no way to twist this anymore . It should have been done in the manga not in a freaking movie its no different then justifying NH  , kitten if they gonna make like nothing ever existed romantic and between NS and they diminish it just by Nakama its gonna be so weird . 

 

EDIT : I don't think that NS was mentioned in Junko's interview  when she said about Sakura's Nakama love even in Google Translate it doesn't mention Naruto just Sakura's Nakama love from where did it come that its about NS nakama thing .

I think NH/SS are also going to be asspulls in the movie's end since it looks like Hinata's dreaming NH most of the time. It's still one-sided.

This movie might be the true end of the series.. it didn't really kitten on everything did it? We know how Naruto feels about Sakura and how Sakura is moving towards Naruto. Her interview really helps, because that means they're still really close. It's not justifying NS because we already have NS in the manga, the movie will just finish what the manga started for NS. For RTN it was the same deal, Kishi put in Naruto's family life and Sakura's parents because there wasn't enough time to do that in the manga. There's so much NS in the manga that it's hard to argue otherwise (ex. he has moved onto Hinata) This doesn't apply to the secondary couples because 1. They're not the main character/don't already hold feelings for someone else or 2. They've been hinted at one way or another.

 

This movie will focus on love, so it's better for Kishi to tie up all the unresolved love plots really nicely in a movie rather than rushed bullsh** in the manga.  The fact that he didn't address the POAL at all is enough for me to expect NS in this movie. Maybe at the end of the movie Naruto finds Sakura sitting at a bench and then we get something on the POAL or chapter 3. xD We'll see soon enough.

Lets say the movie is the real ending and NS is canon  how does it erase 699 and what was done to NS ? It literary destroyed Sakura and NS it diminish their bond completely and all the NS moments were given to freaking SS .  This is the main problem which you can't just disregard unless its an IT .That's all I'm saying  do we really want NS with 699 still being there ? It just doesn't seem right does it ?

I'm not sure what you mean exactly  . And so what if its 2 years from 699  you do realize it f**cked up everything Sakura and NS was and all the development was tossed right ? It was complete disaster  its was disgusting  . I never shipped NS just for the sake of canon but for what they were represented and were that development was heading toward NS  and 699 f**cked that up . 

 

700 It did, but we already know how Naruto feels don't we? 700 was a giant mess and ambiguous af while 699 was OOC as hell. I think they'll be explained. Hopefully Chatte's theory will be right

They both did  equally  they were like a nuclear bomb that kittented on everything .  If they are explained and erased/negated then I'm ok which I only see it done with both of them being part of a freaking IT , that's all I was saying otherwise even if NS happen it won't be right  with those chapters to haunt us it would be no different then NH/SS   .

 

Yeah we'll wait though that Kishi sexist interview  hurt us even more so I'm not having any hopes left maybe 1% hope but its slim .
