Don't you dare compare him to Seidou

I wouldn't mind it if he showed a few more emotions. Hard for me to like people who are so distant; you know less about him than Seidou tbh.

But Arima isn't Seido and to be perfectly honest, he could have killed Kaneki but didn't. Seido was going to.

What are his motives for that: Compassion? For the purpose of using him? Who the heck knows. But he seems to admire his strength.

YES, so much to that. Seriously, there is only so much we can wait. He's killing us T_T What I am sure of is that later on, she'll become important in the rescue of her father who's being used by the CCG (hopefully, we get to see some quality time b/w her and Ayato b/c that's what the two desperately need in my eyes).

Lol I won't hate Seidou, I feel sympathy for him with reasons that is too long to explain and will get badly written if I try, I feel everyone suffers here though...not just Kaneki. Each shows to me that people are very different and can change differently after being tortured and not everyone is as strongwilled as Kaneki though he did changed, at least that's how I feel xD I would prefer him to find peace or die to free from that misery

 

I think the point where I began to hate Seidou is when he revealed he is not actually all that crazy, he actually enjoys what he is doing as a twisted manner to prove to himself that he is not a second tier

Is the reason to hate Seidou is just for Kaneki? I love Kaneki like everyone else but he's not the only one who's been through stuff and plenty of others has hurt Kaneki but people still like them like Tsukishima (I am thinking of Haikyuu so I hope I spelled it right )

I read that, too. It was interesting, but I wished we would have found out why he's like that. All I know is that he's a prodigy and that he seems to express a big interest in ghouls and their lifestyle. Speaking of which, I'm looking forward to that DVD. He's voiced by Daisuke Namikawa (Hisoka's voice actor ) One of my favorite voice actors (yes, I'm fangirling, lol).

Well I don't know about AHK, but for me it was when I saw him being fully consicous of his actions and taking it as a way to prove himself

I would still pity him if he was only the broken and brainwashed man I mistakenly thought he was before

Oh I thought it was just for Kaneki xD I get what you mean though, I still feel he's been through alot that I feel it took a toll on him and causes him to twist his original motives, so I can't hate him because I think that way and we haven't found out what really happened to him at all

Everyone needs Haikyuu!! in their lives (not really, but still). You make me think already about season 2 >.<

Back to Tsukiyama: Tsukiyama, Suzuya, Ayato... Dunno, but I think as time goes on, characters that were hated first are later on liked/doted on a lot. But Seidou...uhuh, I think no matter what happens, he'll remain hated from now on. Even Urie is not hated that much; he's considered to be more pathetic than anything else.

I'm going to completely break down if it turns out Hinami has done some wrong things, too, over the timeskip... I want her to remain pure so badly, but being in Aogiri Tree kind of destroys my hope completely. It's prob b/c she has done some dangerous things that she gained such a high position in Aogiri Tree  in the first place.

I always liked Seidou and Urie, I feel like there's more than what we know. I only hate Jason but I pity him when I saw his past and I semi hate the Pierrots because I still feel its difficult to hate some of the characters we used to love which is why I like TG for, I like how they make you feel for these characters and learning more about them

Urie is annoying, but he doesn't deserve the amount of hatred he receives after this chapter in my opinion. It was more there to highlight how much he suffers from his superiority complex. Loosing a parent can affect anyone in a different way. And seriously, what's with people going on and on about him having fatally wounded Mutsuki? Mutsuki looks fine, geez.

Jup! That's what I love TG for, too. Whenever you think you'd hate someone, Ishida somehow makes us feel bad for the characters. When I saw that chapter about Suzuya's past... Uhuhuh, we do not speak of it. And even Nutcracker for a short tiny moment. Before we know it, Ishida will make us feel bad for Torso/Saeki XD

Well so long characters are created that way only to be developed is ok to me. Like I said in my review, don't stall too long because it would play off bad. To me, if Sasuke was going to have the ending we ended up getting, he should have changed a long time ago. Instead, we see more stuff going on that not only got tiresome but as well as frustrating in a negative way. It's as if all characters in Team 7 are in still phase 1 like he only left and that's it.
