Whats your opinion on the imdbs review?

It's based on User and Critic reviews such as this:

 

"So, I saw this movie on Internet and it was in pretty bad quality so I maybe missed some small details. The movie starts with epic prologue, it's styled in black and white and look very artistic, so I really like that part it was epic as hell. Now onto the bad aspect to the movie Villain, plot and attempt to make money from Sasuke's appearance. Let me tell you, if you are Sasuke fan and would watch it only for Sasuke don't even bother to watch it, he will literally get less then 2 minutes in the movie. Villain is okay, but nothing unusual, rather boring. The plot is also okay, but again; nothing unusual. Animation and sound is beyond solid, I was surprised that Studio Pierrot really made and effort in this. (Unlike Pain fight in Shippuden) Now into romantic aspect; this movie convinced me that Studio Pierrot would be WAY better at making romance series. Romance was handled very nicely, it really was able to make you emotional and be more connected with character. For example: Sakura; she is number one on my hate list. But in this movie she was really decent and beautiful character (Unlike part 1 and Shippuden). So it really surprised me in a very good way.

The gold part for me was NaruHina moments. I have been their shipper since I was little and was like little child when I saw them.

Overall, definitely best Naruto movie in the franchise. With amazing artwork and sound, the plot and villain was okay, but still not anything special. Also if you are Sasuke or NaruSaku fan don't watch it, it would be waste of time for you."

Well, after the miserable manga ending happened I got busy with end-of-year stuff at work, the holidays, vacation -- all that kind of thing.  Most recently I've been pretty under the weather with pneumonia but making a slow recovery.
 
But I'm back here to help support the troops and commiserate with everyone who misses the real Uzumaki Naruto.

Pneumonia? Christ that blows. Hope you feel well soon!!!

Also a lot of them haven't taken the time to read interviews. That also contributes to their ignorance. 

 

For instance, many SS fans still don't know that Sasuke doesn't live in the village. 

Yea I know, I don't any of my real life friends that even care about Naruto anymore knows about the interviews.

Well, after the miserable manga ending happened I got busy with end-of-year stuff at work, the holidays, vacation -- all that kind of thing.  Most recently I've been pretty under the weather with pneumonia but making a slow recovery.

Omg, it took me a while to realize what Pneumonia is since English is not my first language. I remember my brother had it once. I've never seen my brother this sick before. He was more than two weeks in the hospital...

I hope you get better as soon as possible!

Kaguya should have stayed in the mythology. I honestly still don't understand why she was treated as a villian in the first place. Wasn't her wish to be the one person who saves humanity/from themselves? If anything she had a neutral standpoint. There was no need for her to come back, and then have the black zetsu of all things make an excuse for it.

 I thought the whole mythology should have been ignored. It mostly answered questions no one asked. The vague references to the sage were more than enough. Kaugya was so much worse, though. There is nothing there. Not motive, no character, no personality.

 

She was used because Kishimoto had no clue how to get rid of Madara. That's it.

At least he describes one thing right:" ... awkward romance between Naruto and Hinata." Their interactions in the movie were incredibly awkward. And the interactions were so few, it was ridiculous.

I there was something else that I caught but I don't have time to talk about it. You saw the movie right? Was there really a few amount of interactions between them...

Not counting the moment before the genjustu scene, it took Naruto 16 minutes, so a day to a few days in the movie, to fall in love with Hinata. Afterwards she gets captured, and we don't see him and her reuniting until that wedding.

That's what I don't understand though. Why did Kishi have so much trouble figuring out how to beat him? Naruto and Sasuke's power-ups from the sage should have been enough. Hell, the tools he spat up could have been used as well.

That's what I don't understand though. Why did Kishi have so much trouble figuring out how to beat him? Naruto and Sasuke's power-ups from the sage should have been enough. Hell, the tools he spat up could have been used as well.

I still think the whole Otsutsuki clan, outside of the Sage himself, was SP idea so that they could make a connection between the manga and the Last and then they could market it as chapter 699.5. The whole thing with Kaguya just came out of nowhere and when she is first mentioned it seems to fit with around the time the Last was being put into production. It really wouldn't surprise me if this were true. Madara was just another casuality to this terrible ending.

The way I see it is that SP convinced Kishimoto that this was the right direction to go with the series because of their obession with Hinata plus that's what they felt would make them the most money. So basically he sold out to SP and handed his story over to them.
