I'll be finishing it in time for beta reading today! Whether it gets published TONIGHT depends on how long the beta takes and whether it's fit to be shown.

I've been thinking... We know the genins are going through puberty. I was wondering how poor Naruto would cope when Sakura is going through her mood swings/period. I'll have to research... (well, I am a guy so I know nothing/little about girls' growing pains!)

The only difficulty I'm having with 8 at the moment is how to fit Hinata into one of the scenes (I know when she'll appear, but I need to sort of cement it). It's very easy to have characters appear and talk, but I'm trying to figure out how to make their conversation meaningful (unless it's meant to be funny of course!).

I just took a look at the Narutofan forums. No NaruHina nor any SasuSaku fanclubs!? Wow...

The only other Sakura pairing FC is LeeSakura. And of course there is ShikaIno!

Could the NaruHinas/SasuSakus be retreating..? I really, really can't wait for the next few mangas. I wish I could sneak into Kishi's studio and see what Sakura is thinking before/when she sees Naruto!

It's possible that the final nail will hammer into SasuSaku's coffin very soon...

Yeah, Hinata will be in a scene with Sakura and Naruto. I'm sure that, as the beta-reader, you know what scene they'll be meeting in. (one of those additional scenes we talked about).

I just had a little go at redoing the earlier chapters. Nothing major, just redoing the language to bring it up to better quality and putting in more appropriate reactions such as when Sakura finding out Jiraiya is teaching Naruto. ("Naruto-kun is being taught by one of the SANNIN?") She just previously thought of Naruto talking about her while he was away, and I thought it odd that she wouldn't react to hearing that he was being taught by none other than the Perverted Hermit.

Unfortunately, I can see that a lot of work is going to be needed in a couple of the earlier chapters! The worst offender is lots of name repeating, plus some of the sections are pretty lacking.

I'm going to go George Lucas and "remaster" the old chapters (except perhaps for 6, which seems to be good enough). Just be glad that you don't shell out more money for the remastering.

Chapter 9 should be even better. There'll be plenty of training action in it, and you'll see quite a few familiar and new faces. There will also be some interesting hints as well...

I have no idea. I got a modern apprenticeship application form from my local council, but it didn't specify. I think this interview plus aptitude test thingies will let them tell where I should go in their vast array of cogs

Hmm, I've visited Animesuki for the first time (been meaning to for a long time, but didn't for various reasons!). There is such a huge array of series there!

Any you guys highly recommend?

I need to recomend Naruto as tyhe first and foremost series, however if you want to see something new check out Lord of Lords, Ryu Knight. It's an hilarious series about a band of do gooders led by a knight called Adeu, they have mechas which they control with their thoughts I think and there's a ninja who wears a Kakashi style suit.

Yeah, I have Naruto all safely archived on my PC and on backup DVD. I'm going to get a DivX DVD player so I can play them in my room...

I only have Naruto, Ghost in the Shell Standalone Complex, Ghost in the Shell film, Trigun, Excel Saga, Cowboy Bebop, Ninja Scroll film, Street Fighter film, and Princess Mononoke.

I'll check out your recommendations tomorrow night. For now, I have much writing to do! My brain is full of words... and my sister is NOISY AS HELL again today.

Geez, she makes Uzumaki Naruto sound quiet.

so yesterday i saw Miss Saigon in theatre/opera house. It was really good, and I liked it.

hopefully me and some friends are gonna go watch Les Miserables in April! maybe not the london crew, but its coming and i'm gonna watch it for sure!!!
