What will it take for this manga to be canceled?
As long as it not in ToC bottom rank, it will save.

Oh, I though that the oneshot was suppose to be released this week. But it and the manga will be released on the 25th. If I were to guess why they are doing that is they hope that having kishi release his last (hopefully that's the case/doubtful it will happen) work of the Naruto franchise. That it will interest his fans in it and then make them more interest and read Bolt as well.
You know just from those three images. I have found another reason for why their one a month thing is a bad idea for Bolt. They have no confidence in it. There has been only three images this artist has done for the bolt series and each one has a different alteration to Salad's outfit. It nice that they are listening to people response and trying to fix the problem. But what they are is just trying cover ups and not fixing that core problem. The problem is that what people don't like about bolt so far is Salad outfit. It's is too sexualized for a young girl and it give the reader a impression that their going to be a lot of loli in Bolt. Which wasn't one of the fan services in Naruto. So it isn't that fan service people want to read in it's continuation. But instead of just making her wear pants or something. They first made her wear short shorts so they can say "hey were not going to be having panty shots." While the shorts are not visible. So it still leaves the (what's the best word for it) "illusion/idea" of no pants. But apparently that was too boring for the artist now so he open up the top added black bow and black bandages to make up for the sexiness that the short shorts took away. So they didn't fix the problem they just made their fetish more apparent.
Now let's say that happened to other parts of the manga. Now it is nice if a writer does look at and respond to feed back from the fans to improve their work. It can also lead to back tracking, getting caught up on the wrong plot thread, and constantly trying to re explain something some readers weren't getting among other things. This became a problem in Naruto during the war arc (thought it also happened to a lesser degree in both pein and kage summit arc as well) were kishi was constantly going back and trying to re-explain something that happened in a previous chapter, again and again and again.

Yeah, it's nice if an author is showing to actually be paying attention to what their readers are saying but of course, what actually gets changed and how often based solely off of what readers say can be a problem in itself. If this author is going to be so quick to change even the smallest details (granted the details here were creepy) solely because of reader/fan complaints then what's to keep him from completely changing how the story is going to go solely because a number of readers/fans complain about how it currently is going, similar to how Shueisha/SP took all that crap to heart (at least what they wanted to look at, usually just stuff related to Hinata love and Sakura hate) and had Kishi completely change how Naruto was going compared to early on? After all, I'm pretty sure a majority of readers who say they have a problem with something in a story are overall pretty ignorant about what exactly they think they're complaining about while very few can actually give an actual explanation/criticism for what they believe the problem is and offer suggestions such.
If there's an actual problem that readers talk about and the author himself/herself looks over it and can see a similar problem and corrects it (pacing issue, explanation issue, or something like that, like J.K. Rowling with Harry and Ginny), that's one thing. If readers simply complain about a non-problem (not liking the pairing in general without a good reason) and the author reflexively alters the story just to make that group of readers happy, that's another thing entirely and what should not be done.
As I keep saying, it's something that irks me when I read fanfics - seeing author's notes at the end of a chapter(s) with polls for things, usually pairings. It just feels like, when I see such things, that the author doesn't really have anything that thought out and are simply allowing themselves to be lead along a leash by the readers rather than just doing their own story the way they want to while, again, only changing things if there's a legitimate issue rather than reader saltiness for the author not doing things how they.themselves would do.

The masses are asses, and what normally the largest shout are the simplest part of the problem.
For Naruto they probably figure the reason people hate the ending was: "the pairings" solution make BS and NS and SNS clone. When the real problem is: "the fact the entire plot, morals lesson, and character's arcs had to be abandon for Hinata to get what she wanted."
For Salad's outfit sexualizing of a 11 year old girl: "no pants." So they put pants on her and people probably mocked them for it still. Since they clearly hear them, but really didn't fix the core problem of the sexualized 11 year old girl. They learned apparently: "Now it's not sexy enough!"
Just for comparison. Watch Batman v Superman with my sister yesterday. What people said the reason why batman hated superman was: "Bats mad because Supes destroyed his building." What the answer my sister and myself came up with from watching the movie "The building collapse at the very least: killed own of his oldest workers he was clearly close with, crippled another one, and orphaned a little girl."

A shame that it wouldn't last long. It will be a one time deal. It would have been the only time that I would be checking out.
That said anyone sees the summary for Boruto? I hope they got it wrong but it seems like father-son relationship is STILL not done.
OH! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! How is that conflict not kittening over?! They spent an entire kittening movie on it! Are they really going to spend more time going over that beaten horse?...no wait. Of course they will! Because that the only plot line the bolt manga has since the ending destroyed everything else, and kishi hasn't given those clowns any other plot to fail at! Other then maybe the failed parenting of Sasuke.

I just pray it's not that storyline. I feel like I'm about to get "super" on.
Posted 29 March 2016 - 06:50 PM
Super? Do you mean a retelling of the Boruto movie like Dragon Ball Super?
I guess it is possible since we dont know when it'll take place at the beginning
That's probably the general idea 4life's alluding too...
THAT'S WHAT HEROES DO, THEY SAVE PEOPLE!!

Really that's the name?
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

No... The real title is:
Boruto v Sarada: Dawn of New Generation!
No, but seriously do they have a name for it or it's not decided?

Well...pretty clear that they have no faith in Boruto alone so they have to throw "Naruto" into the title in order to draw people's attention, much like they had to do with the Boruto movie.

To answer any question if anyone thinks/wonders if Bolt could stand on it own without Naruto. Well the creators clearly don't even believe that. So why analyze the what if?

Why bother doing this if they don't feel Boruto's story can't stand on its own? It obviously tells you the guys in charge now have really been hitting the sauce to screw things up more than before.
