Jaime's a true bro.  Got to admit that bathroom scene made me laugh though. Anyway, nice seeing Chrono's character development come full circle. Now, he's up against Kanzaki, who confirmed the mysterious person's deck was Gear Chronicle.  I hope Bushiroad pulled out all the stops on this fight.  Chrono and Taiyou's fight wasn't that good.  Also, you wonder why that match even mattered other than for Chrono to fight Taiyou, because Team Demise already lost two matches.  If it was an official match, Team TRY3 would have already won.  Taiyou thinking his win alone would prove the US principles are right was too optimistic.

 

Four episodes left for this season.

 

 

That's what s/he told me in another forum since s/he frequently buys manga. If I understand correctly based on that statement, Aichi's personality in anime is too much Kai obsession unlike manga version.

 

I see, you're Aichi x Misaki shipper like me (though I ship Misaki with anyone except Miwa).  Aichi x Misaki is my very first Vanguard ship before I liked Kai x Aichi, but Kai x Aichi annoys me since season 2.

While the Aichi holds Kai in high regard, I believe it's the fanbase that over-exaggerate it more than what it is.

 

lol Yes, I know you dislike Misaki being paired up with him.  Yeah, Aichi x Misaki is my OTP.  Before, I had Aichi x Kourin as a second optional pair, but later thought "no, it's Aichi x Misaki or nothing for me".  I'll also support Koutei x Yuri and Ren x Asaka, but the blue eyed pair is my primary ship.

Actually, I'll try catch up on this series before season 2! But I'll need to catch up on second season afterwards, cause November is gonna be Exam month... So I'm having a little too much headache these days.

Hi guys long time no been here  .  These last two episodes were kind a meh to me , I don't know why but the fights don't excite me that much like in P1 with original fight  the fights were more detailed and more fun  god I miss them  .  Anyways I agree with what you guys said the fight with Kanzaki is much better then the one with Taiyou and Chrono got his development  , though during the fight remembering his team members and all of them punching when defending  like they're one made me laugh so hard and facepalm bc I felt it was so much cliche  (don't shoot me please !?  ) . Overall it wasn't so bad next episode should be good the conclusion I hope its done good  .

Aurageyser Doomed made this episode.  The fight wasn't bad.  I just wish they didn't skip so much.  If they still want to keep cards secret until they are released, Bushiroad should have taken a break from the anime.  That means losing their timeslot, but in hindsight, that was a better alternative.  Also, there's hardly any good commentary. "Like OMG, he blocked a G unit attack!"  Of course, when you have a PG, it's easy.  If we're going to have more vague fights like this with non-realistic reactions from the peanut gallery, then it's not looking well for GIAS Crisis that starts immediately after this season is over.

I can see that Bushiroad would have revealed those secret cards as an advertisement. Well, that's marketing strategy. But I was bored. I wish those fights were like season 1. Hoping that GIRS Crisis won't have a same treatment as the current season.

 

Vanguard and Deletors...Royal Paladin (definitely Blasters and Alfreds) and Link Joker...

I noticed that people (except female cardfighters) doesn't have an interest in Touken Ranbu clan because they're all males. That's just me but that clan has a unique abilities. Not complaining or something like that.

Yeah, I heard Minivan was getting another season. Looking forward to it .

 

While having separate stories, the anime does incorporate elements from the manga.  The biggest examples are Alfred Early and Ibuki migrating to the anime series (movie for Ibuki's debut).  In addition, smaller nods to the manga include (but not limited to) Ren's nickname for Misaki in season 2 onward and Kourin's transfer to Miyaji academy in the the beginning of season 3 (her first appearance in the manga). Also in the manga, she mains Ezel, the card she gave Aichi in season 2, so there's also instances of the manga incorporating elements from the anime.  From Minivan, the skit where Ren comments that Tetsu would nail a bad guy role because of his voice gets a nod in season 3.  Also, in chapter 7 of Minivan, Misaki wears a head ornament and a golden robe similar to CEO Amaterasu (Shin actually had the full costume, but she refused to wear it), and this is nodded in another episode of season 3, when she does wear the full costume for a play.  Also, we cannot forget Daigo's cameos.  A confession in a dominantly comedic spinoff is big, and I feel it's shown in Minivan right now, because of the timeskip and the previous main cast being out of the main focus in the G anime and manga.

I thought Touken Ranbu clan is not limited to any English tournaments. Actually, that clan will be available in English format so I think it's legal.
