"Beginner's luck."
Angry with what he did to Takumi? If yes, I thought so.
SO, I wonder how Erina will react to the news. Relieved? irritated? both? Something else? Not gonna be elaborated? Well at least Golden week was it is done.
Lol. Maybe.

The thing is about the team effort and gatherings, which Soma succeed. By himself is a whole new story, but here, it's a different kind of battle. He don't have to lose everything. Lose in something that need to be done because of plot. Don't bury the guy. Don't make him opposite of Yugi or Echizen.
Yeah but that's it, the reason why the Number 8 could pull out so far ahead was because he had an army of copy cat cooks in the Kitchen that could keep up the demand, this was the advantage being the number 8 seat gave him. On the dish itself Souma was the one who learnt from his first few days defeat and improved on his dish enough to beat his opponant.
I don't think it would make sense for Souma to lose to the eight seat if they do have a challenge, this would be the first battle after what was essentially the training arc, the one where he learnt from his previous defeat. It would devalue what he learnt from the french cook and the lesson he learnt from defeat in the final, if he lost.
If Souma does lose in a battle with the number eight seat it would have to be to teach him an even bigger lesson and even then the mangaka could lose fans who will start thinking he is overusing that plotline.
That said who'se to say the battle between the two will be for the eigth seat? What does Souma have to offer as equal collateral as an incentive to put the eigth seat on the line, for all we know the battle could be for something else completely, even completely unrelated to Souma, like giving control of the Chinese cooking society to the girl with the purple hair.
If it is for the eight seat, then I would expect Erina to challange the number five seat to be ahead of Souma again.

Yeah I wonder what will happen too, I can't really think of anything :OHe will, but this is a different competition. If he go one-on-one, yeah, that would require a lot of thinking. He can't even satisfy Erina (yet), so he has to learn. Though I do wonder where will this lead to. Besides, Soma should bounce back now since he came back from a great redebut image that I almost thought he went to 3 years skip. Will he lose again? Maybe, but I believe this one is fine and all it was missing was a victory theme from A-Team.
Though I am glad that I'm not alone on the whole winning spree from those two guys. Lol.

Yugi lost due to circumstance like "The man is going to suicide! God dammit, Nappa!" Filler don't count, though why filler seems to have the right idea to make someone "human" in series where they win forever. Manga Echizen never lost. Anime did in sparring wise.Yeah I wonder what will happen too, I can't really think of anything :O
Those two always win, only lost like once but barely anyond remembers xD

What could he learn from losing in one-on-one though? He learned enough or rather no one has provided something that will make him lose due to right call. Like last arc made sense because again, if he won, his father's words are pointless. Sure he didn't learn about love but he learned about identity. I mean he can learn what I just said, but seems like that's on hold for a while. It's like a slow burn but at least you get to see him learning before going to next level, which he's getting there if not is there.

It's kind of like pretty much everywhere. You get the basic out of the way, then you start focusing on the peak of that fundamental. Sports anime does it, battle anime does it, and so on. Unless Soma was designed to be those characters who is already the best but lazy/lost the will/insert reasons, he has to lose at some point.
Exactly what would he learn from his loss against the eight seat? That's why I can't see him losing to the eight seat if the battle does take place, at worst it would end up in a draw. I can't think of any lesson defeat to number 8 would teach him. Not to challenge someone much better than him? He challenges his father every few months, and challenged the french chef so a loss to 8 would not stop him challenging big enemies. That there are people his own age who are just as talented? The Italian cook, and two finalists already taught him that. o it would have to be something major, and I can only see the mangaka teaching him that lesson much later into the manga and against someone more worthy, like say the number seven seat, I get the feeling Mr Naked Apron is holding back his true abilities and could challenge any of the top five if he wanted.

Do spoilers even get posted for this? I wouldn't be surprised if Raws got posted before the spoilers did, not sure where the raws would be posted though, probably some chinese site.

Trangster has the answer!!!!!!!
There's this site called mangahelpers that generally posts spoilers and raws (usually chinese) as soon as possible, not only for Shokugeki no Soma, but also other mangas: https://mangahelpers...okugeki-no-Soma

I know. Though I feel like newcomers want to barge and ruin things. I actually wanted to post a joke post of saying, "So happy for many new people. But here's one thing I would like to say....Pairing is set. Don't kitten it up." with an image of Kaneki telling Shuu to don't kitten up or he'll kill him. I always feel like the character poll is so far done right rather than "Why he/she is there when they didn't do anything at all!" *cough* Iruka *cough*. Otherwise, you might as well have a picture of glasses that says, "Thanks for the glasses. I will wear it."I like the fandom for this anime (except the shippers and Erina haters) but the fandom is like the Gintama fandom, more into story and expectation

Well you got the right idea. Plus you're not the person that got what he/she wants from Naruto, so it can easily applied to other series.....I'm new....

I wanted something else from that....but got BS....still got it right though, I knew bs would happen if those pairings happenedWell you got the right idea. Plus you're not the person that got what he/she wants from Naruto, so it can easily applied to other series.
