Ok, so the manga is ending in 5 chapters. Does this mean that Sakura might not show up again until the final chapter? I really hope this isn't how her role will end. It's seems more likely now that the pairings won't get resolved at all in the manga, but instead in the new movie.

Wow. Just heard the news on Tumblr. I can't believe this! I always was looking forward to the end, because I wanted to see how everything would be wrapped up, but, now, I really wish things would go more slowly, so that we won't have to arrive at this point really fast, which is how it will feel, when the time comes. I can't say I'm shocked, because concluding the story was always inevitable, but I really am still numb from the news.

Ok, so the manga is ending in 5 chapters. 

 

If the manga ends on November 10 (in Japan), that would be six chapters left -- counting the one that comes out tomorrow.

 

Maybe I'm missing something.  Or can't count.

This would be nice but those amount of pages are usually for monthly manga. I mean the final chapter of Dragon Ball had like 16 to 17 pages if I remembered correctly.

Well, on Tumblr, we could have a tag just intended to thank Kishi for everything. We could easily share our thoughts and original work in there. Who knows? He might magically even come across it!

Nope, the last chapter we get is on the 6th of Nov. So, counting the one we get this week, there would still only be 5  chapters left.

Nope, the last chapter we get is on the 6th of Nov. So, counting the one we get this week, there would still only be 5  chapters left.

Of course for us, we get those chapters earlier than Japan. The chapters get officially release on Monday, so 694 should be release this Monday. So the final chapter will release officially on November 10.

We get the chapters illegally before that date... lol. Officially, the chapters come out Mondays, four days after we get them. So, officially, Naruto will end on November 10, but we'll get 699 on the sixth.

Viz releases their translations the same day as Japan's. They won't accept Nov 6 as the end of Naruto because those are considered unofficial and illegal.
