X3 hmmm I wonder before they fight would Naruto do a semi-confession to Sakura, like just for precaution in case if he doesn't win?? Lol one can hope....

This panel is so cool. He looks so dark and sinister, the art is amazing. When I first saw it I had to take a moment to admire it (though it sort of looks like his right eye is looking forward, while the left is looking to the upper left lol...) The shadows, sharp, precise lines and contours. Like Atheck said, one of the best Sasuke panels in the manga -- one of the best overall, actually, for all characters. You can tell that Kishi puts in more effort and takes his time when drawing Sasuke, especially big panels like these. And it's so different than the subpar art he's been putting out recently. I wish he would put in as much effort with other characters.
 

How would the anime screw it up? By making Sasuke look more sympathetic instead of depicting him as the psychopath he truly is? I haven't watched the anime in a long time because I got fed up with the nonstop filler bullsh**? Why can't animes follow the same airing methods as the American networks do instead of continuously making episodes until it's done or canceled? Then they wouldn't have to waist time (and possibly money) creating filler episodes that aren't even canon to the source material.

They just would not draw it as well. Their art tends to be subpar compared to the manga, often taking away some subtleties in the original.

That's true, Sasuke did deny being pure. wth kishi.

sasuke can just put Naruto under genjutsu, using him to undo the MT and whatever... But we have to see if Naruto can resist  to sharingan genjutsus. He should have a little of all bijuus' chakra but who knows...
 
but this story is a bit complicated... How does it work? If one of the two beats the other, so? the loser will have to use his power with the other for awakening the sleepers? I don't understand how this battle works... It's a deadly battle or just a battle where whoever loses must be submitted to the other?

ive thought about this too. whichever one wins needs to have the other cooperate in order to release the IT, but the loser can just refuse... unless sasuke can use the bijuu's chakra somehow. i think kishi did this on purpose though, to show that the brothers need to cooperate to bring about peace or something like that...

I was looking back on The Naruto VS Sasuke fight in Part 1, and I remember at the end of Volume 24 Naruto caught up to Sasuke just before they fought. Then their fight took place at the start of Volume 25 and ends at Volume 26.  Of course a good portion of Volume 25 had the Uchiha brothers flashback so technically Naruto VS Sasuke Part 1 was only 11 chapters (excluding the flashback). 

 

So anybody wanna take a guess, and saying that this fight may last 2 volumes total?

Well, that is true, but not in the way that we'd normally think. He means that everything Sasuke does is genuine and arises from his own thoughts and desires. He's definitely not pure of heart, like Naruto.

True. I kinda see it as Sasuke being extremely passionate for the things that he wants. No matter if their good or bad.

If Sasuke dies , Sakura can transplant the rinnegan to Naruto (or Kakashi , yet again ) and then he (they ) can remove the IT .

If Naruto dies , Sasuke has the bijuus to use for removing the IT . ( this is most likely his plan)

If they both die , Saskura and Kakashi will be like Adam and Eve for a new world

Of course , most likely scenario is that Naruto will make Sasuke will see the error of his ways

Yup. He wants to change things to not only prevent those kinds of tragedies from happening again, but also as a bit of a way of exacting his revenge. That would explain why he's after all Kage; he wants to destroy all symbols of the system that ruined his life, in the process of making things change.

So how many chapters do you think this Naruto/Sasuke fight is going to last? Part 1 went from chapters 218-234 (5 were flashback chapters though). I think it will have to finish before Dec 6. If the movie is suppose to be ahead of the manga, it was just spoil too much while this fight is going on, assuming that the movie is canon.
