I can understand your frustration, but to me some of you are reacting too strongly to this week's chapter.

Right now, we are frustrated, and we want to see Sakura fight, but at the moment she can't do nothing to fight Kaguya, she's too strong.
I'm a little frustrated too, because I don't like to see her that sad and I want her to yell at Sasuke to shut his dirty mouth. Honestly. LOL

 

I'm sure in some weeks, when we will have more, reading the chapters one after another will make sense and we will not feel frustration.

Right now we are impatient, and we want to see Sakura do something great.

 

I think Kishimoto is setting Sakura for something that will happen sooner or later.

 

I'm sure of it. Everytime in the past when he 'downplayed' her, it was to make her shine later on. It's also the same with his other characters. It's how Kishi is writing. Putting a character down and then make him/her stand up and shine strong.

 

To me, the purpose of this chapter was to say clearly that Sasuke would have let them die. Basically. To prove the difference between him and Naruto, and to begin to show to us readers how Naruto will see right through Sasuke later on.

The way Naruto frowned his eye, looking at Sasuke, is proving he is deeply doubting what Sasuke said. Because once, Sasuke saved him the same way. I think Kishi wants us to see that Naruto is seeing through Sasuke. Naruto also has frickin' teased Sasuke with his last sentence.

Right now, he doesn't care, or he's forcing him to not care, or he's blinded by his goals, or anything. But we all know that the old Sasuke will be back later on. And we all now that Naruto will dig in him like he has done with Obito and that he will find him buried deep down inside.

 

And I still think he checked first in the direction of Kakashi and Sakura before going to save Naruto.

I know this a SS argument they are actually using to prove Sasuke loves Sakura soooo much and all, but I still think he checked.

He checked and then he went for Naruto. He explained to Naruto everything Kakashi has done. He saw it.

I very much disagree with this what you are implying in here is that Sasuke didn't save them because he saw Kakashi doing that which mean he cares more about them if he checked them first not Naruto  and defeats the whole purpose of his actions and what he was saying also don't forget that he didn't react when Sakura was stabbed there is no excuse , i understand that you may like Sasuke but you are trying to hard in order to defend him in here so please don't make him a Tsunder that's not him , he cares about them but he doesn't want to admit that so he's willing to let them die this is ridiculous even for his character  .  

 

 

Here is why Sasuke didn't checked them first &#160

Check the whole picture and see that Sasuke was first facing looking downward toward Naruto and then Naruto says Sasuke go "there" toward Kakashi and Sakura to save them but he gets straight up and ignores them completely .

You see its in here after Naruto asks "how did he" (Kakashi manged to save himself and Sakura) that Sasuke turns his head backward and see the situation for what it is with his Rinengan and tells Naruto about it you see his look isn't focused toward Naruto in here but toward Kakashi .

that Naruto's trow back comment was him making a comparison with Sasuke to explain to him to make Sasuke understand why his body moves on its own because they are precious to him just like Naruto was to him there was no T7 in here he wasn't thinking of them only Naruto and this was a NaruSasu moment . The fact that Sasuke's body moved away from them KS when they were falling into the lava along with what Sasuke said proves this wrong along with Sakura's and Naruto's expression,thoughts .

I've studied this chapter a lot, I've thought about it.

 

On those pages, he turned his head while speaking and looking at Naruto.

 

I think Sasuke checked before.

 

But I think Sasuke is also ready to sacrifice them if necessary.

It's obvious he's looking in the direction Naruto is showing him at first.
Then he is coming to Naruto quickly.

 

Also, all the tease from Naruto to Sasuke is implying there is something that is hidden. It's just Kishi's usual way of doing things.

 

Again, it's how I see it.

And this is what i'm saying but Naruto reminding him about Sasu / Naru event to explain to him how he feels doesn't equals to him caring about T7 he isn't thinking about them nor did his body moved to protect Kaka/Saku  this is solely about Naruto if he cares about anyone than by his flashback that's Naruto .

 

And I'm not biased or blind  so to think that Sasuke wont get redeemed what i'm was arguing about in here is trying to prove that Sasuke cares for them now in this moment by using that Naru / Sasu scene No that's just No   , to use it as a foreshadow that Naruto will beat some sense into him latter yes that i agree but to use this as a prove that he cares about them in the moment that's just a big NO and defeats the whole purpose of this previous chapters and what was said and done   for now in this moment Sasuke doesn't care about them and this is said directly by Himself and  Sakura so there is no escaping from this they are not laying in here .

Anyone curious to see the 'Strongest father-son duo' in action? I mean both of them, FTG users, battle it out with Kaguya. What can be more awesome than this! Kaguya will have no clue as to what is happening. I am so very excited to see their team work. Tobirama and Kakashi can get together actually. The cold calculating geniuses working together. What can be more better than this. Hashirama and Sakura, I'm curious about this one. What if Hashirama is reminded of Mito while fighting alongside Sakura? Hiruzen and Sasuke, Hiruzen is awesome no doubt about that.....Sasuke...dunno. I think on seeing both Naruto and Sasuke, Hashirama will know that they are the reincarnations of Ashura and Indra just like him and Madara were. The coming chapters are gonna be full of revelation and stuff. I wish Naruto and Jiraiya could meet and team up for a fight atleast once. Ero senin :(...miss him much!

What is absolute truth is what is said and stated  by the characters themselves and their actions in this manga black and white trying to twist that is a no .

 

Then what were you trying to prove by saying he "checked them first" ? I take it as you were trying to use that moment as to prove that he cares about them  but you see i can do the same by saying he checked only because Naruto said him to go there to save them and even after that he left them to die as in "his body moved away from them"  this is why from your whole original post this is the only part i disagreed

 

And you also said he was forcing himself not to care for them but he's willing to let them die  to me that implied it is what you meant so excuse me if that wasn't your intention but this also makes Sasuke a Tsunder which is funny and OOC .

Didn't Naruto already fight with Minato in the climactic "father-son duo" against Obito some time back? The old man has to be feeling a bit antiquated right now since his best efforts failed against one-eyed Madara and now he doesn't have any arms to speak of. Tobirama is pretty much in the same boat and the "Professor" promptly had the upper half of his body destroyed when he tried his hand against a mindless Juubito. Their hearts might be in the right place but they're probably going to end up like Kakashi unless Hashirama can work a miracle with his Mokuton. 

 

More Tobirama/Minato antics would be fun though. Hearing those two bicker with each other about ridiculous names and the unoriginality of their movesets was one of the finer points of the Juubito fight.

Just because you don't SEE her using someones nerves to paralyze them doesn't mean she can't.

Better to ask yourself this; WHEN did she need to do that? the answer; Never. Sakura has not been up against a human opponent in the manga since forever. Madara doesn't count.

 

Except for the Kumo ninja who attacked her after pain was defeated, Sasuke when she was trying to kill him, Lee, Sai, and Kiba.

 

Again, " i understand" is not "I agree." I understand means "Yea I get that you think that, and maybe they can't do anything RIGHT HERE or RIGHT NOW, but in the grand scheme of things, no I don't agree."

 

Well then why doesn't he say that? Naruto has defended Sakura's abilities before. But the problem is that instead of disagreeing with Sasuke he specifically says but sometimes my body moves on its own which I already proved means that he acknowledges uselessness but will still save them bc he cares. Srry but Naruto knows that they are useless and if he thought otherwise would be the first one to fight Sasuke over it.

 

So you think that Naruto thinks Sakura's weak and useless? Okay, well you're wrong because it contradicts canon statements he's made. It would go against his character for him to find Sakura to be weak and useless when all he's ever done is admire her. So that's all that needs to be said.

 

Which only proves that he does think that otherwise he would be fighting Sasuke over the statement. But to clarify I don't think that he believes Sakura is weak, just that in this situation she's not going to be very helpful. However, considering the number of times that he has saved you have to wonder if Naruto doubts her combat ability as shown towards the end of 631 where he tells her to rest now that she is finished healing him.

 

Are you a reader that needs to be hand held through everything a character is thinking/feeling, or are you a reader who can infer from the situation, from expressions and commonsense to figure out whats going on? If you are the second, you don't need scenes with Sakura thinking "Oh I feel really useless" you can TELL that's how she feels because you know her character and you know whats going on and you know that she's upset.

 

Ah insults, usually meaning that the other person can't resort to evidence to prove their point. Very classy. The reason why the above argument doesn't really make sense is the fact that scenes are the cold hard evidence of what a character is actually feeling. Of course you can guess at the time but a guess is a guess. How can you truly know what Sakura's feelings are without a scene or panel to prove it. But I don't really see why a hand-holding reader/ an inferring reader has anything to do with the matter at all. My main point was that there was zero development showing the regression of Sakura's character from pride to low self esteem and that Naruto agreed that Sasuke was right. I never said that Sakura didn't feel that she was useless. The fact that she feels useless and is doing nothing to improve her situation or even trade words with Sasuke is worse bc it shows that she has given up and accepted the fact that she can't do anything.

 

 Again, what the hell is she supposed to be doing? there is nothing she CAN DO.

 

She could maybe start by saving herself from falling into that lava pit for starters. Or try to distract Kaguya so that Naruto and Sasuke can seal her. Or give Sasuke a piece of her mind. Or save Obito's body. Or find a way for herself and Kakashi to make it to safe ground. Or figure out a way to damage Kaguya. Or use her medical avoidance skills to try and memorize the pattern of Kaguya's attacks. Plus wasn't she supposed to be talented at genjutsu or something?

1. Sakura actually has brains unlike Naruto, and probably thought "Hmm, a foreign ninja in my village walking around like their supposed to be here, might not want to attack them." Because you know Politics are sort of important. 

She used poison that she put together herself and tricked several comrades into lowering their guard so that she could knock them out-- but that's still not good enough for you? WOW. Okay then. 

Yea, because right before they face off against Kaguya was/is the best time to pick a fight with Sasuke over Sakura's usefulness/non-usefulness. Oh, so now Naruto doubts her because he saves her? guess he better take a page out of Sasuke's book of "IDGAF"? better he shows concern then just stands there doing nothing. Kinda a natural reaction to someone you're in love with- protecting them. 

If you think I'm insulting you, you apparently can't tell an insult from a literary comment.  

Either you need things to be plainly stated so that you can see them and don't have to WORK for it, or you can read something and see whats beneath it. They teach that sort of in-depth reading in colleges and STILL half the people in class struggle to do it. Some people have it, some people don't. Its that simple. 

You want to see panels of Sakura regressing or whatever you think she's doing, I stated "Why do you need to see it when you already seem to think that she's not the same badass she was during the Sasori fight? why does it need to be seen when you can already tell she's upset and she hates the fact that she has to look at them, watch and do nothing? in her mind She's gone back to part 1 Sakura." does that clear things up? its pretty obvious. which is why i brought up the hand holding while reading. 

Yet again, HOW WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO SAVE HERSELF? Cling to the wall like a spider? How do you know she wasn't going to do so but Kakashi snatched her up out of the air before she got a chance- you know like he did earlier in the war with Zabuza and Haku because he actually cares about her safety and can't read minds. She's fully capable of taking care of herself, but someone always gets in the way. 

You know, err on the side of caution and all that.

Her not catching herself in mid air is such a small thing for everyone to be gripping over. Its not a big deal.

Why would Sakura save Obito? he's  not important to her...

What genjustu is she supposed to be dealing with? that has no relevance what so ever. When the hell has she had a chance to memorize Kaguya's attack patterns? Do you think Kaguya would fall for a Genjutsu or something? because I HIGHLY doubt it. 

Just take a second and think about all the stuff you're suggesting, you don't think ANY of it seems a bit ridiculous?

Honestly, there aren't many fights with sakura besides some of part 1 and the fight with sasori. I'm fine with sakura not fighting kaguya right now. I mean, what do you expect?

Sakura was never emotionally strong, even with her resolve why would you expect her to be different? Of course she's changed, she's grown and has become stronger.

But I can understand the fact that as of now, she isn't doing much of anything, with all of that emotional stress piled on top of the realization that the sasuke she has been wanting to save doesn't exist like how she wants. I mean, we saw how she handled herself at the bridge, when sasuke left, and during the konoha rebuild period.

Right now, I'm waiting on naruto and sasuke to finish talking, come up with a plan and reach the dramatic climax.

It's not that I think she is useless or weak.. I just feel like kishi is taking her out of the spot light ATM so that he can come back to her later and resolve this entire issue with naruto and sasuke.

I'd be a hypocrite if I said I liked it after my complaints for NaruSasu power-up, but I'd be biased considering she's my fav character and deserves much relevancy. But if she does get a power-up I want there to be a different way she achieves it, whether it being on par with NaruSasu or not. 

You know the way I see it is Kaguya=Hagoromo+Hamura, I'm talking in terms of power. Hagoromo=Naruto+Sasuke.

So if Hamura shows up and if only Sakura receives a power-up. It would mean that Sakura=Naruto+Sasuke.

And I would absolutely love that. To see Sakura being more powerful than Naruto and Sasuke.

I know it sounds ridiculous and it doesn't really make any sense, but let's be honest logic left this story along time ago.

Like I said I understand that this story is a male orientated story and Naruto is the main character and he'll get most of the action along with Sasuke. But it's time for Sakura to get a piece of that action. It's time for Sakura to show the boys how it's done. It's time for her to rise above the rest.

I mean if you go back to the beginning of part 2 Sakura and Sasuke were the ones that grew the most. Naruto was left behind. His training with Jiraiya didn't make him stronger, it just refined his skills.

Naruto should able to fix Minato's arms since he's a jutsu, let alone he could do so to human. Here's something that I just realized. What if Naruto does have the ability that Juubito and Juubidara but this time, he can pass and not be stingy. Remember how those two can regenerate. What if Naruto can do to other so long he concentrate on it. Huh...I guess it's not much of an asspull when you really think about it. It would be nice he can do ninshuu. Anyway, off to enjoy the day.

I say, maybe instead of getting a power up, like the boys, Sakura will finally get an axe. She's been drawn with it plenty, plus axes are used to cut trees. So, she could possibly be trying to free people from the genjutsu, while N/S are fighting Kaguya.

by the by, for everyone complaining about Naruto not acknowledging Sakura you might want to re watch episode 246 which has just been dubbed. especially Minatos words to Kushina.
