If it is focused around Team 7 then a possible method to exhibit the Team's growth should be if both Naruto and Sasuke were to begin using their respective transformations/techniques (Naruto with Kurama's chakra cloak and Sasuke with Susanoo) followed by a close range depiction of Sakura as the Yin Seal/Sage Mode appears on her face.

Okay as much as we love this chapter and know that there are unexpected things out there, here is a good debate question.

Some anti ns people said due to narutos delayed statement about sakura being his girlfriend and the last chapter due to Sakura's speech, they say he does not view sakura romantically anymore. Others are saying its just comic relief and he is toying with sakura. Many say he is off of sakura and only sees her as a close friend. Many say these few sakura chapters still pale in comparison to 615.

So what do you guys think? Plausible just messing with sakura or does he really still love her, basically do you think this action resolves what was said in 469?

I personally think it does because we still have no notion of naruto thinking he should move on, never even have any focus on how he feels about hinata. To me, the fans are just assuming narutos feelings withou any notions, we still have no development or idea of what naruto thinks of hinata beyond friendship. The sasuke stuff on sakura is limited, yet again back at ns, we see tons of their thoughts on each other.

Still makes no difference in the end in one clear reason, the development space left to bring nh is just too small, it would not be believable anymore. It's been proven this chapter that sakura is apparently stronger than hinata too. There was time for nh to grow before 615 but it didn't. Ns did. SS is only around as long as sakura loves him, but we still do not have an answer for the 540 event. Sakura can still turn towards naruto and I'm betting this will happen by the naruto vs Sasuke fight. I mean she supported his dream of hokage long ago, she still does. Sakura did interact with Sasuke a bit but is it not funny how Sasuke does not even say sorry to his teammates yet when he did to Karin? Sasuke is really just doing the enemy of my enemy type deal for now, then trying to become hokage because of the same ideals like Madara, only naruto knows the right reason as itachi told him, and remember who spoke of him being acknoldged and not doing it all alone, sakura. The proof is in the pudding if you ask me and when things are viewed out of context, it just sounds like excuses or misunderstandings to haters.

Naruto to me, is still in love for sakura for the same reasons we mentioned again and again. So now with Sasuke back, he can fulfill everything. Even with stuff like what happened today, fans still think that stuff like 457 will just vanish to the back and never rise again. Same with naruto not knowing how sakura knows about him loving her.

Just food for thought when the fighting starts, what if at any point between now and the naruto vs Sasuke fight, what if naruto makes some mention of him liking sakura, I am saying, what if like what minato did, if these types of notions continue in other ways like the forehead compliment, 540, 457, yamatos notion, and sais notion, what if they just keep popping up and push sakura closer to naruto, what if this fight is the thing that brings them ultimately close to each other?

This is team 7s time to shine, others will fight but it's team 7 and hinata has no place on team 7.

As for hinatas panels, I'm sure they are just the reaction to the arrival of minato and then Sasuke plus jugo but should they have been towards how naruto said sakura was his girlfriend, maybe she will finally get the notion of this and how he feels. If something happens between naruto and sakura and later on hinata sees the conflict sakura is in, then it may be game set and match, if hinata sees where naruto and Sakura's feelings for each other lay, that can be it and ns canon.

Well, all i have to say is: Try to take the story till the todays chapter and turn it into a NH or SS ending.
How would you do it? I see no possible way anymore.

If Naruto isn't in love with Sakura anymore he wouldn't have said Yes, so that the hitting part could have been avoided and the Kushina/Sakura Parallel statement from Minato wouldn't even exist.

So I guess it was meant to be.

Honestly, Inferno, it's gonna be pretty hard to counter all this really. Many say it is all about possibilities, but again as many including myself have said you have to look at what happened instead of what didn't happen. Why did Kishi do that if it has no meaning?

Even "comical romance" is still romance. Look at how harems do it and it is just as much full of comical romantic moments as anything else. Look at Naru and Keitaro's relationship and how many question their relationship to the point that naru flat out denied it, but he they still ended up together.

Sure this manga isn't a harem, but that doesn't mean it can't use harem elements and writing practices. And it has happened in many other manga the exact same way with canon pairings.

I literally laughed my ass off when I read this chapter. Well that was my live reaction. I was happy for some nice NS stuff, I was hoping these pairing wars could come to an end and I was looking forward to reviews.

But yeah, some NS fans say that Naruto was joking. Honestly I've always felt they brushed Naruto's feelings away as a joke. "It's just a crush", "Just some father son chat", "he hesitated to answer, that means that he's conflicted", "more or less doesn't mean yes".

But for me this is enough. It's game over. You can twist it around and so much but it's over. Kushina comparison confirmation, parent approval..

Just read the chapter and all the talk of Naruto being hesitant and Sakura not taking the statement about being his girlfriend seriously or as comic relief fail to notice Naruto basically said yes she is his girlfriend or is close to her and Sakura didn't out right deny it either. Then afterwards Minato states the similarities between Sakura and his wife.

Whether it was for comic relief or not, the fact remains Naruto and Sakura are close and even Minato sees it, even if he hasn't seen Naruto and Sakura together and meeting Sakura for the first time.

Just my thoughts on the subject.

Well, then after reading that chapter, I'm pretty much all but satisfied of the results and pretty much excited of what happens afterwards. This is a similar feeling for me to Game 2 of LA Kings vs San Jose Sharks. One of those really enjoyable results where it does not really matter what happens next, but it is nothing but a benefit.

This will happen, its based on the ideal of what itachi said that its the acknowledged ones who become hokage, not the the other way around.

Naruto is doing it by relying on others and Sakura's speech resonated with it. Sasuke however wants to do it thinking he can just generally make it better so stuff like Itachi does not happen again. He is trying to do it for himself, if anything Sasuke still has not learned the importance of bonds, Madara tried to do it all alone, this is why he became arrogant and focused on his own goals abandoning everything.

As for Phoenix, Lady GT, and James yes, this makes sense, its not just in the time left behind but the claims of minato's notion being the same as yamatos of them both not having known Sakura long, I found something funny to counter these claims. Haters and antis say that the notions of Sakura loving Naruto is dumfounded[ because of their lack of time knowing Sakura herself. The deal is though this is one part a rerunning joke, another part, its not the lack of character's knowing something about Naruto and Sakura and the love triangle, some of this stuff is said by seperate characters on different occasions for the reader to learn. Yes the whole sequence of Naruto loving Sakura being advocated by Kohanamaru, Gamachiki, and Minato is meant to be funny, but Yamato and Sai, its more direct and meaningful. I guess I can say this, we get so many notions of Naruto's love for Sakura and Sakura's feelings and concern for Naruto, yet how often do we get one based on the others? SS is quite often cause well, thats part of Sakura's character. Now what about NH,? Very little, even 615 does not really show much on Naruto's part towards Hinata besides mere friendship. Now with the current chapter, in respect, some NH fans are doing what we did in 615, making a statement on Sakura's lone panel, in all respect this is something we can ideally understand fully, maybe Hinata's panels here have significance as we thought, maybe she is just reacting to the arrivals of the hokages and sasuke+jugo respectively. Maybe she heard Minato's girlfriend statement, I mean when it comes to the love triangle, only naruto and Sakura fully know it, yet its Sakura who has the lead because she knows Naruto loves her and Naruto is still unaware of this. Does Hinata know how Naruto feels about Sakura? Well with the kushina case closed for good, I think we can rest easy. Some people are still trying to argue that Sakura and Kushina are still nothing alike with the whole "didn't" know Sakura at all clause and was just assuming, well I think at this point, even kishi thinks its clear to the reader who Kushina represents when Naruto firsts meets her. I mean who else honestly has a background like that? Some still think its Hinata. If a story element has been advocated a few times in a series by different characters towards the same theme but those characters do not necessarily need to know the other in depth to perpetuate the theme, this is the case of the situation when the reoccurring joke of Naruto and Sakura being a couple keeps popping up, yet with the kushina attribute it is true.

But yeah I'm feeling NaruSaku at 100%, its blue, we are in the biggest fight in the manga, the ten tails is almost perfect, its obvious Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke will live in this fight and till the end. This is the fight where Naruto needs those who are important by his side, well look to his left, who do we see? Sasuke, now back to the right, who do we see? Sakura. Hinata is not at any side of him, now is she? Only a few loose ends with Hinata and Sakura's feelings remain for these other 2 ships. I mean kishi pulled a ship tease but come on, would he honestly attribute the parallel to Hinata somehow in the midst of the chaos? I believe Hinata's only real way forward may just be realizing Naruto's feelings and being something on her own, Sakura's feelings towards Sasuke, I still see them now more than ever just returning to mere friendship. Its just her general development, I mean even in the end, Sakura could love Sasuke but it does not grant anything assured for her and I don't see this happening because then team 7 would be together again, more mature but the trianlge would be back, part of the journey is development, not just returning home to square one. I just see Sakura moving forward and loving Naruto in the end epspeciallyafter the recent events, I mean even showcasing how she wanted to fight, its clear, she spoke Naruto clearly last chapter, this one Naruto could see it in her eyes. Literally naruto and sakura can read each other without a second thought. And Sakura loving Naruto would not be an asspull, she has the feelings and reasons to progress towards him and away from Sasuke.
