As I expected, the minute I finished reading this chapter I knew the contents of it would make the page count sky-rocket. Though I will admit that it did set off some "uh oh" vibes in my chest, I don't think it will hurt our pairings chances in the long run. We won't know the outcome of this ordeal until the fat lady sings.

LMAO. That sounds pretty legit given all of this fan crap we've been receiving here. Don't you just love how Hinata gets to hold his hands and fight by his side, and she even describes how warm he is.

A more fitting scenario would be...

Sakura punching the daylights out of Hinata sending her flying and screaming "Shannaro! Naruto is mine!!!!"

you know what i find funney the fact that naruto told sai he was not ready too tell sakura how he really felt and that was canon manga and in the filler the same with that girl wye even put it in the manga if your not letting him do it you know is it not a bit pointless so if its not gonna happen this manga is a bit ruined.

Same. When I read the chapter I actually laughed through it because I couldn't believe my eyes. Still doesn't take away from the developments we've gotten throughtout the manga. Will Kishi ever address the first meeting. The two of them almost kissing on the bench? Sakura's true feelings for Naruto. Why she always feels down when it comes to seeing Hinata around Naruto. You don't do stuff like that unless you feel something for that person and I believe she does. She unknowingly wants Naruto all to herself.

She really does care though. It's why she was able to hug him after he returned to Konoha. Freakin' LOVE that panel. That felt natural, and it wasn't forced at all. Just shows us that, sure Sakura can be rough with Naruto but she can be sweet with him as well.

My main thing at this time is just getting some inner dialogue from her. I just want her take on what she just saw, and since Hinata's getting her wishes, I'm sure Sakura will as well. This might actually propel her toward Naruto to assist him more now.

Hinata and Naruto are going to use a combo-jutsu on the Jyuubi and take it out with their love-love power. Then Obito will have a change of heart after witnessing their love for each other. He'll join the good guys and take out Madara for them, while Naruto and Hinata kiss in the moonlight. As for Sakura, she'll be hit by an asteroid and die in the background.

It made me laugh until I realised that's pretty much what NH fans are thinking right now.

But let them rejoice these few weeks... I will be rejoicing for the rest of my life when the manga ends with NS being canon.

Why she always feels down when it comes to seeing Hinata around Naruto.

Well, if I'm not mistaken, this happens two times. In this chapter and in the Pain arc, correct? In both cases the surrounding situations aren't exactly ideal. They are under attack, someone is badly injured, someone is dead. Sakura has no reason to look happy. It could be that she's just feeling down due all the devastation and it has nothing to do with jealousy for NH. It is of course possible that Sakura is not happy because she wants to be with Naruto herself. Are there other chapters where Sakura looks unhappy to see Hinata interacting with Naruto?

Reading all the debating and arguments and seeing how fast this thread it going just makes my head want to explode. At this point, I just want the next chapter so we can move on from this and see the results. Man am I patient. I knew this was going to happen with the end of the year chapter and with the expected cliffhanger. Yay for minimum one week breaks

Well, Kishimoto didn't include that reaction panel for nothing, right? It doesn't make any sense if he intended for NaruHina to become cannon from this chapter. If that's the case, why show Sakura reacting at all? Although we don't know specifically what she's shocked over, going by the placement of the panel, we can tell that it has to do with Hinata's interaction with Naruto. Is it jealousy? She could be, unknowingly, hence the shocked look. Or maybe it's something else. Either way, it's an indication that the pairings haven't been set in stone yet. Naruto's feelings for Sakura and the ambiguity surrounding Sakura's feelings both need to be addressed.

In regards to Sakura's feelings, I wish Kishimoto would let us see things in her perspective for once. He's always keeping us guessing when it comes to her.

Those are the only two situations where Sakura witnessed Hinata interacting with Naruto in a way that expressed her love for him. Although there weren't many other moments like those that she missed out on. NH isn't exactly brimming with moments...

I don't know why people having a hissy fit that "OMFG!!!! NaruHina's Canon! NaruSaku's Dead! ABANDON SHIP!!! (Did someone posted the Bender vid of that yet? )

After reading it, I don't see it as a very MAJOR threat to this pairing. For once, finally its a Hinata moment, that (even though she's not my favorite character to know, like or read about, especially whenever she's near Naruto) Kishimoto finally, FINALLY giving her development that gave her a backbone at least. Not one of us couldn't see the fact that she actually slapped Naruto and with a good reason in fact. Especially in a very high, tense and dangerous atmosphere surrounding them, not to mention that her own cousin, Neji risked and sacrifice his life to protect both Naruto and her.

The only thing I didn't like was her thought panel on the second to last page: "Naruto's hands is so manly...." Oh boy... and this is going by mangastream's translation.

Will this be a major NaruHina moment? Yes, let that fandom rejoice with glee (even though it was more of Hinata moment.) Will it blow us NaruSaku-ers off the field to the abyss? HELL to the f-ing no!!! Watch when Naruto gives the final blow and the war ends with many casualities, the Juubi sealed once more (I hope), Obito's dead, and Madara is sent back to hell, never to be Edo-Tensei again, that is when we get a big, no, HUGE NaruSaku moment. Hoping for a kiss scene.

Well yea she doesn't. The part that's questionable however is the fact that she was already shown to be shocked. But then she's given a second reaction to what was happening. Why? It could mean something. Or it could be here reacting the scene like you said. The thing is it would have made more sense to show her reaction when the dead comrades were shown rather than after Hinata was holding Naruto's cheek like that. But meh. I'd rather not dwell on this chapter too much because it wasn't that huge for me. I would have liked to see Team Gai's reactions instead but....ugh.

Naruto showing hints that he loves hinata, or Naruto give up on Sakura; Naruto's romantic development towards Hinata.
I'm yet to see this.

The problem is every single development that hinata has you guys take it as a NH moment.
Like i said we have to see the next chapters.

I'm not sure. I guess a kiss would be it. Or Naruto actually responding to her confession in less ambiguous words. And the confessions hasn't even been brought up either. There was no "plus I love you because your strong" or something along that line. Plus I'm sorta going with that theory I told you about before if you remember, about her words in 573. But yup. That's me personally.
